My recent visit to Chipotle was extremely disappointing, primarily due to the appalling service provided by a staff member who identified himself as a manager. Upon ordering, I immediately noticed the portion sizes were significantly smaller than usual. When I politely inquired about this, the "manager" responded with a dismissive attitude, sarcastically asking if I wanted to speak to the manager. Despite my declining, he continued to assemble my bowl, which ended up being incredibly meager and practically soup-like due to an excessive amount of grease from the bottom of the meat container. The manager's unprofessional behavior extended beyond my interaction. He rudely yelled at another guest who was about to sit down, claiming the table had just been cleaned and was wet with cleaner. When the guest's father commented on the manager's aggressive tone, he continued to display an arrogant and confrontational attitude towards the family as they tried to order. Most concerning was his response when the mother of the family requested to speak to a manager. He mockingly spun around and, with a smirk, asked, "Hi, what can I do for you?" This clearly indicated he was the manager and was intentionally being disrespectful, leaving the family understandably frustrated and unable to address his behavior. The combination of skimpy portions, a greasy and unappetizing meal, and the manager's incredibly rude and unprofessional conduct made this a truly terrible dining experience. This level of customer service is unacceptable, and I hope Chipotle addresses these...
Read moreAvoid this location. Shoot, avoid all Chipotle in Reno. This location I went to at 1pm on a Saturday. Every food silver container was more or less empty. I asked if they'd be refilling and the young woman behind the counter said maybe 30 mins. The rice looked mostly empty and dry. The beans were all juice. No Pico de Gallo or corn salsa. No brown rice. No chicken. I gave the beginning of my order and she put saddest scoop of rice in my bowl. She had to lift the silver container to get the last bits out. I then asked for beans. She gave me a heaping spoon of bean juice and like 4 beans and then asked me what meat I wanted. I then looked at the meat and there was a layer of congealed goo on whatever was left in the meat containers. I looked at my partner and said, nope, we're leaving. Told them thank you, we don't want to eat here. You guys, she scooped the beans off the rice and put them back in the silver container and did the same with the rice. Cross contamination, anyone? I saw the same thing happen at another Chipotle where I watched an employee pour a to go container of queso into the vat of queso and mix it up real quick. Are they no longer teaching food safety at chipotle??? I will...
Read moreI ordered in app so that I could pickup food for my family. I place the order in the app at 910 and went to pick it up ,arriving at 927 for a 930 pickup time. When I asked a team member for my order he said corporate had sent an email saying they now shut down at 9pm so they couldn’t fulfill the order. He said his general manager was supposed to refund all the orders for after 9 on Monday. Since it was Saturday night I said that was fine and left. Monday came and went. I called Tuesday asking to speak to the gm and got put on hold then hung up on. I called back and was immediately put on hold and hung up on. This has continued every day this week. Due to family issues I called later than normal on Friday (today) and was informed by the assistant manager that there’s nothing he can do. I “can report it as fraud to my bank or keep trying to contact the gm but good luck”. Unfortunately I think his sentiment is correct that I would be lucky to be able to get the general manager on the phone. All I was asking for was a simple refund, and instead I get the run around, hung up on, and scoffed at when I finally get ahold of...
