I'm surprised this place is still in business. First off, this isn't a place to eat if you are in a wheelchair. The doors are very heavy and hard to keep open and push a wheelchair in. There is a downhill slope once you enter the restaurant. I stood at the hostess desk for at least 2 mins jingling my keys to get the hostess' attention. Her back was to me, and she didn't even see us come in. When she finally turned around, she asked us to go back up the ramp to sit in the bar area. She could clearly see my bf was in a wheelchair and the bar area had booths with a step up to the table. WTH? I told her this wasn't going to work, so she had me follow her back down the ramp and said, " Will this table work?" Clearly, no college degree needed to work here! The only reason we came to this restaurant is because we had a gift card to use that we had over a year. We thought we would give it another chance since the 1st time we ate there was a terrible experience. Thinking maybe, just maybe, it had improved. 😆 🤣 😂 The waitress came by and asked us if we'd like to order a drink, we both ordered an iced tea, she was gone 10 minutes before returning with them. Why? She was not waiting on any other table but ours. Xmas There were only 4 other tables in the whole restaurant being waited on by other waitresses This right there should have been a warning. It was Friday night at 5 p.m Our food came out quickly. I had ordered the Fettuccine Alfredo with chicken. My bf ordered the lasagna. The Fettuccine was very dry. As soon as she placed it in front of me, it looked like dry noodles, I immediately asked her for more sauce. After adding the sauce, it was just o.k The waitress saw that my glass was empty and asked if I'd like another, I said yes, please. She never brought me another iced tea, she clearly forgot but when I saw her she was up in the bar area sipping on a soda looking at her phone. At this point, all I wanted was to get our check and get out of this place. It needs a lot of work, besides the service and food the lights need to be replaced. That's a sign no one cares about this place 😞 Time to close...
Read moreMy daughter and I went in for dinner on Sunday for Father's Day. It was an unscheduled visitation, but it was Father's Day. It was her choice as to where she wanted to go. The place was busy, but it looked clean, inviting and the atmosphere was welcoming, and ao was the staff. We were greeted promptly, and sat not long after that. Shorter wait than I expected due to business and it was Father's Day after all. John was our server. I haven't had a server like him in quite a while. He was pleasant and approachable. He offered drinks and appetizers by name and even describe the wine and appetizers for us. He offered bread service, brought our drinks and took our order. He was patient with my daughter, as she's a bit shy at times. I didn't feel neglected throughout our visit, as I do many of times at other restaurants when busy. The food was hot and tasty. My daughters food with special requests was perfect, it's the first time she's eaten all of her food in a while (thank you for making her meal right). We had desserts I had the key lime wave, and she had the tiramasu. Overall, it was a great experience. It's been a long time since I've left a review, positive or negative, for anyone. But the fact that John and the kitchen staff made our experience one not to forget, I had to reward the restaurant with a review. I'd like to thank John, he made our visit one to remember. He took care of us, and everyone else that was in what obviously was his section. You've made a returning customer out of me, and I would hope he's there when we go back. Once again, thank you for service, personality, and demeanor. You are an asset to the restaurant; and I would hope your management...
Read moreThe food itself was delicious if a tad lukewarm. I had the Chicken Scallopini, and I really liked it. The pre-dinner bread and the Ceasar salad were fresh and tasty. My dinner partners had the Lobster Bisque, the Mushroom Ravioli, the Bibb-Bleu salad, and the Mama's Trio. All reported to be delicious, just not hot. Like, at all. The so-called Espresso was really bad, according to one of my companions. I didn't try it myself, but I did note that it looked like weak coffee, not Espresso. Also, they were out of Limoncello, but with so many supply-chain issues in the news lately, I can brush that off. The service was friendly but very slow. We were a party of five. We arrived after 2 pm and were seated promptly, so it wasn't super busy. Our food sat ready on the counter for a long time before we got it and, as a result, wasn't really warm by the time we got it. Other patrons who arrived after we were seated were served before we were. I don't know what was going on, probably some communication breakdown or something. One of my dining companions estimated it was nearly two hours between us being seated and getting our entrees. I don't know how long it was, but we had enough time to be long finished with our salads and had time to stack our plates before our main dishes came. Our server was very polite and friendly, and once we voiced our dissatisfaction, they promptly offered to remedy the situation. They even comped our desserts to go. This won't keep me from visiting again to see what it's like when the food is fresh 😆. Next, I think I would like to try the...
