Ive been in Washington for 8 years now. Being from Vegas, we are blessed to have consistent latin food. I gave up on Washington because EVERY Mexican restaurant SUCKED!!! Then tonight my brother said he wanted quality authentic Spanish food. I'm a Uber eats driver and pick up deliveries all the time. El kiosko is always busy. So even though we were close to closing. EVERYONE made us feel at home. The cashier made great suggestions for what we were craving. I got carne asada tacos and my brother got a wet burrito and we shared a plate of shrimp tacos. The cooks were so fast we started getting our food delivered to our table before I could take a first sip of my Dr pepper. The food was beyond expectations it was amazing it was like my grandmother was cooking for me I am an El kiosko fan for the rest of my life I will not touch another person's burrito for as long as I live. The service was awesome the cooks were awesome. The waitress was amazing and the boss lady with the glasses was extremely hot. LOL thank you for El kiosko making a memorable moment for me and my brother who have not seen each other for 8 years I will forever be grateful and you have my patronage forever. If anyone is looking for great Latin food screw everybody else and go to El kiosko!!

Was craving tacos on a Friday night and wanted to try something other than our usual visits to el Rinconsito. Decided to give this place a shot. It’s a tiny spot in Renton, there is enough parking. They barely have 4 tables and mostly you share your table. I love that! We didn’t get a menu but you can see all menu items displayed on the wall behind the cashier. I got their 3 taco plate and my husband got their 5 taco one. We both tried their birria, pollo and spicy pork tacos. Spicy pork was my favorite out of the 3 followed by birria and pollo. They have a lovely salsa bar with 3 types of salsa, pickled onions and salad. I love taco places with salsa bars. The pickled onions were awesome with the tacos. I did miss having a fried jalepeno with my tacos though. The tortillas are really nice too. The service is super quick. The food was served in about 5 minutes after we ordered. The rice is good, I found the beans a little bland. Would I go back? Well if I am in Renton definitely! If you are in the area, try this place. It’s not pretentious at all the food is simple, honest and oh so tasty!

REALLY good food! Pretty small inside for dine in, but there is lots of parking. It's long table seating, so nice if you have a small group, or don't mind sitting next to others. They had a container for water and a coffee pot but you must have to ask/buy a cup. There are no fountain drinks or alcohol - just bottles and cans, with a huge selection of Juanita. You order your food at the counter but if it's done in, they'll bring you your plate. We ordered a side of pico de gallo and it might be THE BEST I've had ❤️ I got corn tortillas instead of flour which I'm sure they would have swapped out but I was about done so didn't ask. Kid's quesadilla had meat and was cooked on a grill vs the cheap microwave cheese we've had at other places. Looking forward to coming again!

When I ordered the chorizo breakfast burrito, I dont recall asking for extra egg shells in it. The first bite was fine, the second had a little extra crunch that at first I didnt think much of, and the fourth bite was almost entirely egg shells. I spit it out and amongst the chewed up tortilla and meat were large chunks of eggshells. I split the burrito open and the thing was practically lined with egg shells! If there had only been 1 or 2 small pieces I would have believed this was a genuine mistake, but given the over abundance of egg shells in the burrito I'm almost inclined to believe that the shells were left in the egg batter on purpose; either that or the person who made the burrito needs to have their food handlers permit revoked. It was legit like they just dropped the whole egg in the bowl, shell and all, and scrambled it like that. I normally hate leaving these Karen-esc reviews but this experience was both disgusting and a legitimate health hazard. Judging by how many good reviews this place has I'm sure this was an isolated incident but never the less, this was disgusting. Its unfortunate I got the burrito to go or I would have demanded a new one had I eaten this there. IF, and I wouldn't recommend it, but if you do eat here, do not get anything with eggs, unless you...

First and last time eating here! I ordered a California burrito and asked that they not put any onion or cilantro in it. I have allergies and food sensitivities. So I get home and start eating my burrito. It tastes okay until I'm halfway down and realize that the bottom half is filled with onion and cilantro...LOTS. It's as if this was done maliciously. Sure enough I started having an allergic reaction to it. It's been 3 days and I'm still suffering. A customer shouldn't have to tell a restaurant that they request that certain ingredients be removed because of allergies. If it was a problem they should have said something. I know its a Mexican restaurant and onions and cilantro is a main ingredient, but I asked (nicely) if I could have it without. She acted like she didn't understand me so I repeated again nicely and smiled. I was looking forward to eating from their establishment. But, putting the ingredients in despite that request (I repeated it and made sure she knew I didn't want them) is not only horrible customer service, but it's quite possibly litigious. So NO, I do not recommend this restaurant. I actually recommend driving to El Reconcito where Ive been eating for 3 years and the food is fresh, made to order...
