Ezell's Famous Chicken — Restaurant in Renton

I really like to support local businesses, but what local businesses don't realize, is we as customers ,that we need , want and require alot of things, including good customer service, good food,clean place,good prices. But those businesses don't think of the value of all these. They only think of how much money they can withdraw out of our pockets. Unfortunately I was very disappointed at the food quality here. The chicken was full of grease, was slightly under cooked, very very over priced for the amount of food sold. Not flavorful as expected, then the mac& cheese it tasted so yucky, that I had to throw away, and I have appetite that can eat almost anything.,then the mashed potato. It was bad .I don't know who taught them to cook mash potato. But no way I would call this a place a destination for good fried chicken.. Now their customer service needs a lot of improvement. The manager does not greet, or welcomes customers. Actually he look at customers suspiciously, in intimidating manner. He is too busy packing food for food deliveries, and forgetting to be polite,, and inviting to customers in store.But the cashier Sharon had a very good,welcoming personality that actually encourages you as a customer to buy food from here But after you pay , you realized you paid too much, we don't mind paying more if it is worth what you are buying, then when you eat your food, then you regret that you ordered it from here. I hope they improve their customer service, and the quality...

Its prety spendy for chicken but the potato salid was sooo good it maide it worth it as long as you got 2 orders of it cuz its sooo dam good you will want a second one overall Ezells was varry good food a little spendy and you do get what you pay for in food quollity food that worth going back there again and again for more of it good food and deals on it. You need to try it to see if you like it and you probably will after you eat the potato salid thats sooo dam good tasting if nothing els the potato sallide is worth going back there for its the best I ever had so far in my life time Ezells potato sallid is the best anyone can get to eat its vary vary good maid well with the best ingreedieance its loved by all who eat it cuz its sooo good. Ezells has a verryity of foods like there potato sallid thats the best thing they have to eat but you will need to get 2 orders of it cuz its soo dam good tasting 1 is not enough for one person they need 2 of them so get 2 of them to eat potato sallid. I stopped by Ezell's Famous Chicken on Rainier Ave in Renton just minutes ago to grab dinner for my family, and I'm genuinely impressed by Kevin Lara's exceptional service 🙏🏽

I was staring at the menu trying to figure out how I could get what they asked for but was confused about the pricing. As I stepped out of line to reconsider my options, Kevin noticed my hesitation right away and said, "I got you covered, man." Instead of being dismissive or just waiting for me to decide, he actively helped me navigate the menu.

Kevin walked me through several meal combinations, patiently explaining which options would give us the most value. He even helped me find a way to include all the specific sides my kids had requested without spending too much. His attention to detail and genuine desire to help made what could have been a frustrating ordering experience into a pleasant one.
