Was accosted by the manager as I sat down and told very arrogantly that I had 30 minutes to eat my food and drink my coffee. That she would call the police if I didn't get out after 30 minutes. I have never been so aggressively approached by an employee anywhere as this. I reacted with anger and told her to go away. She said people like me were a problem and she didn't like us there. I said you mean "cash paying customers who quietly sit and eat/drink coffee. Who have worked and paid taxes for the better part of 35 yrs here in Renton? I have been this store hundreds of times. Just not recently. I angrily threw my food and coffee in trash and left. She reiterated. People like me are a problem. An employee told me she was likely thinking me a homeless drug addict. Now I understood. Thing is I wasn't. And if I was i had done nothing to warrant her behavior. You see I have long hair. Am scruffy. My wife died a little over 2 yrs ago and I haven't cut my hair since. It was the last thing she did. And I am having trouble having it done by someone else. So my hair is long. My beard untrimmed. But I haven't drank in 41/2 Yes. Also very much connected to my wife. I am clean and sober. But I look a little rough. I am saddened greatly that McDonald's employs people such as her. Even if I had done something to offend or arouse scrutiny I wouldn't have deserved her scorn. She made a scene. And humiliated me. I will never return. And will make it my life duty to tell people how I was treated. Oh yeah. She told me I was stupid for riding bicycle as I left and deserved to be cold and wet just like the rest of "them". You see she is better than "them." I rode to Starbucks and entered. They smiled and welcomed me. Asking how I was after being in rain and cold. Got me a hot coffee right away. Then said to me. It's your lucky day. Your coffee is on the house. Have a seat and enjoy. WOW!!! I nearly told them what had happened. But kept it to myself for the last time. Beware McDonald's and Rude employees. You will be exposed and shown to be...
Read moreI would like to rate zero stars. Even better, negative stars. The manager here was HORRIBLE! I came with my 2 sisters and niece and we were helped by a young employee. We assumed she was new because we had an app/barcode that showed the 2 medium fries deal. We showed her the app but she didn’t know what to do with it. After inputting our order, we thought she input the deals in too, however, after payment, she charged us the full price of the 2 medium fries. We pointed that out to her and she didn’t know what to do. So she called her manager and helped out. However, the manager gave my sisters and I an attitude that was very unacceptable. We didn’t react to her attitude in anyway rude and we just wanted to pay for something that was expected. We stayed calm but the way she talked was EXTREMELY rude. It was only a misunderstanding between a “new” employee and the customer (I want to emphasize the word “new” because that is very important). We don’t blame the new employee because she’s still learning and that’s understandable. There will always be mistakes here and there. But the manager is not excusable. The new employee may have made the mistake and that’s okay, but the manager didn’t have to give such attitude towards us. Like, what? It’s not like we raised our voices or made a huge scene where everyone is watching. No, we did not. We stayed silent while she gave us orders on what to do with a very condescending/disgusted tone. And her face showed like she wanted to kick us out. What did we do? Did we really deserve such service? We never talked back or did anything wrong. It was only to clear a small mistake. There’s a lot of process to that and we feel bad about it, however do we still deserve to be treated so bad? We were not in a hurry and we were all smiles until the manager came with such attitude. I’m sorry, but with this experience, I would never want to come back to this place ever again. And my family love going to this...
Read moreI came through the drive thru 9:25pm on 12/04/21. My drive thru order server was Alyssa. I was only able to say two things out of all the things I wanted to order and she said my total. I told her nicely that I was not done ordering and after each item I ordered after, she kept telling me her total. I could easily tell in her tone of voice she was annoyed, but at the end of the day, I was still not done ordering. She then continued to raise her voice and saying the total. I was almost done ordering but not just yet. I had two drinks left to order. In the exact words, I said “I was going to order 2 large root beers, I was not done yet,” and she replied “Were you going to order that or is that what you want?” At that point, I was already irritated. She said that in such a harsh tone of voice and in a loudly manner that when I drove up to the first window, she wasn’t even there to go over my order that I had placed so I had to drive to the second window. There, I had to go back and forth to use my code for a deal. They didn’t read over my order and instead just charged me. The order was not entirely wrong but she charged me for an extra burger for no reason and one of the sandwiches was not even spicy which I specifically asked for. This is by far my worst experience ever as a McDonald’s customer. All I wanted was to get a quick dinner for my fiancé and I after a long day of work. Please help me make this right as I do want to continue being a customer at this...
