Uncle Mo's Bar and Grill — Restaurant in Renton

I went in last night during a time when they weren't very busy. There was 2 people working behind the bar. My husband and I went up to the bar to order a drink. The woman working behind the bar looked at us, went back to chatting with someone on the other end of the bar. No wave. No be right with you. Nothing. The guy walked past us 3 times, never said a word. The final straw was when we had been standing there for about 10 minutes, the woman still chatting, the guy hadn't been helping anyone when another customer came up to the bar. He walked past us and got her drink order.

Now, we weren't in a rush and were willing to wait if they were busy. But no one else was ordering anything. No drinks were being made for anyone. Two people behind the bar and we were completely ignored.

I don't karaoke at all so I'm going to expert on this matter, but as a novice this is a really great place for a casual night out with good friends. My friends and I had had a nice dinner somewhere else and didn't want the night to stop so we googled and found this place. Food and drinks are relatively inexpensive. Karaoke DJ was friendly and engaging. The people watching was amazing. I have never seen a more diverse group of people in one place ever. Blacks, whites, Asians, straight, LGBT, old and young. There were birthday parties, work events and single people flirting. Everyone was having a good time encouraging their friends and strangers...

Great bar good food fun karaoke what more could you ask for! I've been going here since just before COVID to do karaoke. The staff is always friendly security makes you feel safe and the food is always yummy. I like the mix of music people sing and it's the kind of place where you always run into someone you know. Great spot to start or end your bar crawl or to stay for a while. The only reason they didn't get 5 stars is because they don't always have the songs I want to sing however the song catalog is very large. Could just be the songs I'm picking, who knows.
