La Hacienda Revere — Restaurant in Revere

Today 04/21/24 I went with one of my co-worker to grab a drink and some food after a long day at work. I also work in the food industry and totally understand when it’s busy, it’s hard to keep up with the tables, but this was not the case the BARTENDER was absolutely horrible,disrespectful, I am part of the LGQTB ( I identify as a trans ) and I’m pretty sure because I’m different my friend and myself got treated terrible we felt invisible and made fun of, he would not make eye contact, took a really long time to take our orders, when food was brought up there was no silverware, no salt, napkins, did not even bother to ask if everything came out ok. He would go through every single table but ours, not to mention he would look at me in a hateful way which was very uncomfortable the whole time. I finally decided to ask the BARTENDER for napkins, silverware and salt he went back to the bar pretending to be “busy “ ( it was not a busy day )to not bring us what we asked for. Finally he came back and threw the condiments on the table. After that he never came back again, we stopped him and asked for the check he went back to the bar again pretending to be busy and be sneaky about the fact he wanted to ignore us, we were never rude to him to start with once again we do work In the food industry everyday but never have I been so rude to someone because of their appearances or just ignore them because they look different ( he was also chatting with his coworkers and looked at me and laughed the whole time) the fact I have never been treated this way at a restaurant really ruined my whole day I felt embarrassed the whole time and probably wil never go back to that location again. Every other location Everett, East boston they don’t discriminate you or make you feel invisible in fact this never happened to me at any other restaurant NEVER. On the other hand you always got that one nice server who notices everything. She brought us napkins and water in matters of seconds. The bartender never brought the check back, the previous server who had brought us water etc, approached us and asked if everything was ok, we told her we needed the check she went to garb it right away without hesitation. My coworker and I decided to tip the waitress who was way more attentive when it wasn’t even her table. Please update your service and educate them to treat everyone the same if he doesn’t like bartending or doesn’t have the right skills to communicate with people he should not be working...

I had the Best, festive and fun time ever once I went to Revere's new La Hacienda restaurant this past weekend❣️ The food, great drinks, variety of music (with a happening Juke Box) and a professional, friendly, and even beautiful staff❣️😉 I happily ate, drank, socialized and danced and laughed the night away❣️ Revere has lots of great food, restaurants and bars, especially now around the beach area!
