Rating + Review Section:
Atmosphere [10/10] - Small cute restaurant perfect for a quick bite or a small party. Seating options are mainly bar style seats and high tables. Lots of modern decorations as well as some traditional ones.
Service Rating [9/10] - Staff is friendly and answers any questions that a customer might have. They also follow up to ensure that everything is meeting expectation. The only thing they could work on was timing the food a little better. Our 3 of 4 dishes came together but the Fish Tacos were about 10 minutes after the food was served. I’m a patient guy so a 10 minute wait for me is no big deal. I know customers would usually give staff a hard time over this so keep that in mind.
Food Quality [9/10] - Birria Tacos were good however they could use a little more seasoning. Once sauce was applied to them, they were a lot better and more enjoyable. My girlfriends mother had the shrimp taco and beef tongue taco and she gave me a thumbs up from the opposite end of the table. She is very picky when it comes to tacos and that says a lot from her! The cheese quesadilla our niece had passed the test with an amazing cheese pull accompanied by sour cream and hot sauce. I will say, even though the fish tacos took some time to make and came out later. Wow! They were probably the BEST FISH TACOS I’ve ever had. Crunchy outer layer seasoned perfectly with a flaky soft white flesh alongside some pickled onions and other additives. MUST try the fish tacos!! Highly recommended! We also got Elote as well however everyone ate it before I could try it but by the looks of it, that was amazing as well!
Overall, Esquite Taqueria gets a 9/10 overall satisfaction rating for the atmosphere, service and food quality.

Read moreI don't like to write reviews and even more so if they are bad, but this time it is necessary for the staff to pay more attention to the customer. the waiter and the kitchen attendants. Yesterday I had a very bad experience. We went to eat with 3 people. When we sat down we waited 10 minutes for the waitress to come and serve us. I understand they were very busy. I don't know why they only had 1 person in front, especially Saturday afternoon 🤷♀️ Then the food arrived With 2 people. Sometimes there is a dresser that takes longer to arrive and we waited about 12 minutes in case the waitress never came to ask us if everything was ok. 16 minutes passed and the food did not arrive. We had to ask the waitress what happened to the burrito we ordered? She checked on the computer and said or the carnitas burrito? Yes, then it was her when she ordered it to be done by peers in the case that I had to eat my daughter's food because we were very hungry and we didn't want to wait any longer so in the end my daughter and I shared her food. The burrito did arrive, but when we had finished eating. I ordered it to go. I didn't want to be rude and leave it ready for him. 1 that wouldn't have happened if the girl had asked if everything was okay. 2 Those in the kitchen have to pay more attention to their work. The girl who brought the food must have realized that we are 3 people and I only have 2 services. 3 I tried the carnitas burrito later and it was horrible. It was my first time trying them here. The meat was white and colorless and bland. I imagine how they tried to make it quickly. It was not well prepared. I do not...
Read moreLiterally woke up and still thinking about this taqueria!! From the moment you walk in, there are different hues of vibrant colors everywhere. You can tell they decorate with authentic mexican decor straight from their homeland 😍. Every detail, down to the lights that are above you while sitting at the JARRITO bar, the neon lights that display the words " tacos, orale", even the Frida kahlo quote painted along the walls in the bathroom are carefully chosen to keep the essence of their culture. Beautiful, pretty spacious place, despite their small size. We were instantly greeted with great customer service from both waitresses, as well as the chef herself, and even the owner came in at one point and made sure me and my husband were well taken care of. They made this taqueria feel like we were sitting with family enjoying lunch. We went while it was a bit slow so it was just us and another family all the way from RI. We shared conversation as well as laughter amongst the staff and all of the customers. It was a very nice experience! Now the food 🤯🤤🤤! It was so good that I forgot to take pictures unfortunately. We ordered 2 tacos Al pastor to start off with and wow they were very well seasoned, and they were even made the real, traditional way, en el trompo ( I'm sorry idk how to say that in English 😖 lol) and not to mention the tortillas are HANDMADE! DAILY! The dedication that they take to put onto our plate is amazingly delicious! The burrito was so good I had to save some for later. This place was so delicious, quaint, and cultural that I have to go...
