I actually feel nervous to eat out during this time and I've been extremely being careful when I go out these days. This place was so clean. They did practice social distancing. Plenty of parking spots. My order, Shawarma pocket was so fresh, good quality, and delicious. I cannot find a single piece of vegetable/salad that's not fresh. Each bite was a bliss. Service was beyond expectation! The 3"x3" ish raspberry-milk-cake (trilece) is to die for. Good quality and GENEROUS portion. I actually wish there's also a smaller size so I can try more than one flavor at a time. The person who was at the front, she's so kind and friendly. She helped with my order. Thank you very much! :) I cannot wait to my next time I can try their VANUATU organic coffee and homemade Mediterranean food! Highly recommended! They do have Salmon as well. During the pandemic/difficult times, make sure you tip if you can, even it's an online order (pickup/delivery). I wish I live nearby but I'll make sure I'll come back again. It's worth an hour drive/even longer 👍😊. Update 11/15: Service was exceptional, as always. There were many of customers but everyone has their mask on and did practice social distancing. My espresso was great and thick crema from their freshly ground organic coffee (Vanuatu)+real espresso machine. Even I took the picture almost a minute after it's served, the crema is still there! I also tried their delicious Kunefe (there's lots of pistachios inside). It's fun to know about the Turkish coffee fortune reading story even though I don't know much about it (also great coffee).😊👍 Recommend lentil soup and greek salad!

Very clean and sunny space, people are very nice & falafel is delicious. As was the rice pudding (they were so kind to give me a free order of pudding when I was very pregnant!) My mother has been several times and wants to give a special shout out to the chocolate cake- not on the menu but upon special request for something chocolate, she was given this cake that she wanted me to mention! She said it was excellent and hopes they add it to their menu. UPDATE 2024: THEY'RE STILL AWESOME! I came here with my now-3-year old and my mother last weekend, we thought they were holding an event because the place was PACKED. But nope, just a lot of customers! Great to see, and we still found a table. My mom got the falafel wrap and I got the falafel plate to share with my young'un. He LOVES falafel and theirs is excellent, so fresh and so flavorful!!! We both enjoyed the sides of rice, and I think barley cooked with tomato sauce, and salad. Yum Yum! Also their coffee is excellent, and they have nice big ceramic mugs. Normally I am not a fan of tvs in a restaurant, but we all enjoyed watching the cooking videos they were showing. And the music!!! Great, super catchy, we were grooving the whole time there. It's definitely Middle Eastern but with a lot of new wave feel, great beats, and when the space cleared out my kid had so much fun running around and dancing. Also the people are so kind and didn't mind our noise and mess. They all make you feel so welcome! A very lovely employee even gave my son a juice pouch "on the house". He said "it's almost too good". Looking forward to our next visit! Thanks for having us!

Literally mid-meal I had to pull out my phone to start writing my review...that’s how good this is. We drove 30 mins out of our way in search of iskender kebab (the gold standard of Turkish cuisine IMO) and it was SO worth it. Succulent, savory meat covered in flavorful, perfectly-seasoned tomato sauce, nestled atop crisp buttery bread and topped with creamy yogurt. My partner and I ate in a frenzied silence, pausing only to say “oh my god” before grabbing another forkful. The sigara börek (feta rolls) are crispy and salty and cheesy, and the dolma (stuffed grape leaves) rivaled my Turkish mother-in-law’s. (Don’t tell her I said that.) We planned on getting takeout but the vibe inside the restaurant was so lovely we had to sit down! The staff were so friendly (hey Omer!) and even let me practice my broken Turkish :) Expect a bright, open space filled with traditional music and footage of the streets of Istanbul. I can’t tell you HOW MANY Turkish restaurants we have tried all over the country trying to find something as good as what you’ll get in Istanbul—after visiting Istanbul Diner Cafe I think the search is over! This is the BEST Turkish food you’ll get in the Boston area....maybe even in the northeast. Visit ASAP and thank me later!
