The reviews of others afee is ACCURATE. My experience foodwise not bad, Food was decent, my flavors were there.
Service and interraction mediocre and escalated to horrible. The Frontline employees are dishonest and not ethical on business and financial subjects. In nice words, they will do theft to make an extra buck in tip.
The servers not friendly at all. However, when you ask for stuff and don't arrive 3 times or the wrong one. Asked for a small sancocho de gallina, i was charged for a large one.
Suspicious charge practice: . Charged 18% of service charge for a 1 person dinner (my original cash tip would have been higher than the service charge, but they decided to play dishonest. Nowhere in the restaurant (menu or signs) it is stated that a 18% service charge will be added. 1) my server said that was normal (I blocked her name on the receipt. 2) The second server stated that the computer charges automatically 18% after a total of $15.00. ( I will file report to the Office of Consumer Affairs & Business Regualtion). Table across me also got charged 18% and coffees the didnt order (the same second server admitted: "oh that wasn't yours").
They also charge a 4% for credit card payments. That it is only posted by the register, so if you sit down, order, eat, and pay at your table you are not being informed about this (this isn't compliant)
If you are going to charge a service fee that needs to be posted on the menu or the entrance of the restaurant, as well for the cresit card usage fee. It is illegal not to tip in Massachusetts anyways, so post it.
They are playing the oldest trick to rack up bills and charge fees to literally make an extra buck.
*After I queried about the service charge (18%=$6.47, she wrote "error on top of receipt for $6.47). She said that had nothing to do with my bill and also supported by the 2nd server (although the 2nd server's story was referring to credit card usage: i quote: "the error was that I made a mistake and rang it as a cash payment and not cc". Thats the 4% fee which has nothing to do with this. As well that the owner needed to know what the error was. My bill was still left without adjusting it. I paid it. I rather file a complaint with the authorities and the BBB as well with the owner and a bad review.

Havenât had their food. But this spot is open for breakfast, lunch, dinner and night life. I just moved into the area and decided to check out the ambiance. Boy was I in for a rude awakening. Went with my brothers for few drinks. If your choice of drink is Jameson with ginger ale in a small solo cup you looking at $12 đ„ each. My brothers paid for 2 rounds of drink. Paying as we were consuming our drinks. A patron asked if he could take a seat for his wife. We gladly told him to grab the chair and he ended up buying the 3rd round. After consuming our fourth round of drinks we asked the bartender for the tab. The bartender comes back with a $95 bill đł. I explained to her there has been a mistake we have been paying as we consumed our drinks. I showed her a receipt but didnât have receipt for the 2nd round because it was paid cash by one of my brothers. She then checks and gives me this BS answer âyeah it says paid but the receipt print that amount and thatâs the amount you guys owe.â It went back and forth. Finally the bartender dropped it to $40 as if this was some negotiation. My brother then addressed the issue with the owner and his response was âthe bartenders work in the best interest of the barââapparently not for the customer. I'm not kidding were 5 people and this one we couldn't drink, all of the drink test horrible 3 drinks we don't drink we gave the complain and at the end they charges all of them lol never back.
