I ordered from here yesterday evening, August 22. It was sort of a last minute decision. I read the reviews and things of that nature and was craving bbq so decided to give it a try even tho it was a 15 min drive for pick up. We initially called them and asked to place a pick up order and for whatever reason we were hung up on which was strange but no biggie. We called back and was speaking to a guy who seemed unsure about taking our pick up order as he stated that the bartender who normally does it was not available at that given moment so "I guess i can take your order and i guess i should write it down for him" We gave him the order and for another odd reason he asked if we ever been there before and also asked for a credit card number tho in reading the reviews my understanding was that they only accepted cash but we gave it anyway. We went there picked up and sure enough they apparently do now have a card reader. We got back to our place to begin eating. We ordered a slab of ribs, pulled pork sandwich, fries mozzarella sticks and onion rings. We personally were not remotely impressed with the food whatsoever. The fries were very soggy like they were drenched in water, the onion rings were pretty much the same. The ribs that i ate, which again is just my opinion were appalling. To the point where my partner wouldnt even try the pulled pork. Again this could have been an isolated incident and i hope that it is but i will not be returning to this...
Read moreHey Revere! As a local guide for Google I take my reviews seriously and try to provide the best unbiased reviews out there. I hope this one helps you out.
Need-to-know, pros, and cons: NTK: Absolutely dead at lunchtime. Only kind-of, sort-of BBQ. Largely Tex-mex. Food service and drinks from the bar are two different operations and companies who handle payments separately. // Pros: Quiet and casual spot for lunch. Decent beer selection. Great draft beer prices! Easy and ample parking. // Cons: No service. Guy filling in for the bartender was clueless about the food, ringing out the bill, fumbled through the orders, didn't check on us, and spent most of the time watching TV at the other end of the bar. No BBQ sauces. World's smallest BBQ menu. There is a separate Tex-mex menu. Pulled pork sandwich falls flat - it's average at best.
Expectations: If you say you're a BBQ place, offer BBQ. I am definitely willing to part with my dollars for GOOD and especially GREAT BBQ, but there is a respect for the craft that is missing here. Patrons are limited to ribs or a mediocre pulled pork sandwich, with an awkward gentleman for service.
Was required to pay cash for the beers and then separately use a card for the cook in the kitchen, because food and drinks are two different operations. The cook doesn't take cash and the bar man had issues doing...
Read moreWent on an adventure for lunch today 2/14/25...decided to try Full Rack Smokehouse bbq, Revere. 😄 i wasnt sure what to expect, but WOW! thats an under statement. Its a communityt/local bar/resturant, we sat at the bar (nice bar) its a little outdated, but TV's along the entire bar with.a variety of sports channels, there is also full lottery. On with the good stuff, drinks were great-lg size (yummy😅), my husband ordered the steak tips med rare w/ o.rings, they were good. I orderd a full rack of ribs w/sauce on it, w/steak fries & rice pilaf, the ribs were cooked to perfection, tender, the sauce had a little smoke added, it wasnt a sweet or spicy sauce, it was a nice mild bbq sauce it was delicious. It was about 2pm, the regulars started to arrive. I can wait to try on a friday/saturday evening. The dinner prices are the same as other resturants serving the...
