I left this place genuinely confused.
This bakery is down the street from my brotherās house. I went there to get some items for an spur of the moment picnic.
The two young women who were working there seemed lovely. Both wearing their masks, correctly- thank you!! As well as the gentleman working there, which I really appreciated their attention to safety.
But⦠when I went to order the young lady reacted like no one had ever ordered an egg & pepper sub there before. It was right on the menu on the wallā¦?? She wrote it on a tiny slip of paper and brought that to the kitchen. Iām used to ordering all my food at once. I wanted to ask questions about some of the pastries, which all looked fabulous. I wanted to buy a ton more things! Their garden salad looked great, as well as the pan pizza which I didnāt notice before I saw the sign for broccoli cheddar soup (which I wanted the 16 oz and was given the 12 oz, which I hope is what I paid for⦠didnāt get a receipt, not sure if they offered one & I flaked, or what). I wanted to get a pastry called a flat tire⦠but anywho when the employee seemed overwhelmed with my order I tried to keep it to a minimum.
I almost left without my sub- glad they caught me! I was assuming it was in my bag with my cookies etc but it wasnāt even done yet!? So odd. It was a very tasty sub.
All in all: please take a whole order at once and let people spend their $$ at your place! I wanted to drop more than $25 but...
Ā Ā Ā Read morePurchased a first communion cake that was ordered well over a week in advanced, while ordering the cake the person on the phone had a hard time understanding me and what the cake was for,I explained what I wanted (a first communion cross cake with silver or gold sprinkles)I was told they had to special order the sprinkles and thought all was well even called the day before to confirm spoke to another person who took a while to find my order (made me nervous cause communion was next day)she found it confirmed everything..picked up the cake and bought some extra pastries (which were great)when I finally got the cake at the hall I was beyond MORTIFIED to see what a horrific job was done to my $130 CAKE..it was awful for the eye to see then once we cut into it it was even more embarrassing it's like they just slabbed together two cakes they had laying around and covered it in frosting.I grew up going to this bakery frequently and couldn't wait to buy a cake for my nieces special day,go in for pastries and stuff but order special cakes else where! (The little emblem was put on top to dress it up by a guest...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI pre ordered a cake for my first year engagement celebration at this location. They said they would be able to make it look like the picture I provided. Boy was I wrong. When I got there I realize after I left and got home that they forgot about my cake. Not only did they forget about my cake they rushed to make it. I got home opened the cake to udder disappointment. Reason I couldnāt open it at the location was because they wrapped it in extra twine to hide the cake. The letters were off center and none of the frosting on he side was put correctly. The words looked like a kindergarten wrote it and it wasnāt even shaped like a heart. They even tried to charge me more because it was heart shaped. I will never be going to this establishment. I opened the cake to multiple people laughing. I have never been so mad and embarrassed in my life. I will remember this cake for ever as not only a joke but complete robbery. DO NOT ORDER HERE. Thank you for this...
