Would give them a zero if I could. Got in line to get my food a little earlier than it said on the app and got turned away being told to come at the right time. Came 15 min earlier and got in line, mind you I’ve been in line for an hour, an hour past my pick up time and still no food and the line isn’t moving any faster. They had no people when I came the first time. It wouldn’t have been that hard to put my order through. Now I’m stuck in line, extremely hungry, got a migraine and have waisted an hour of my life waiting for my food. Worst experience I’ve ever had at chipotle. They need to do better because right now this is extremely disappointing.
Also, mind you I get to the window finally and they tell me that they don’t have anymore steak which I ordered 2 hours ago with my bowl. I then decide to go ahead and get a different kind of meat and they said I had to wait a few minutes so they can prepare my order… WHAT 🫥. Then I ask if I’ll be refunded for the difference since steak is more expensive and the girl says “we can give you a side if you’d like to make up for it”. Like it’s optional, no it isn’t. Your customer is unhappy and has paid more than what you’re giving them. You should just naturally offer the extra side. 🙂 anyways still mad at that first girl that turned me away when I came a little earlier. First off, calling the number connects you with a chatbot, which is already neutral at best. This one also "types" on a fake keyboard, which is pure uncanny valley for me, and I want to never hear an AI "typing" again. Second, after talking to the chatbot, it directed me to the store's phone number. All I wanted to do was confirm if I had left something of mine in the store before going through the hassle of driving there, but after calling twice and no one picking up the phone, I started driving and ended up with 5 calls and no answer by the time I got there. I turns out that they don't have anyone answering phones between 11:30am and 1:30pm due to the lunch rush. If having someone answering phones during that time isn't something the store can do, they should have that information be a part of the calling experience. For example, instead of just failing to pick up the phone repeatedly, have a voicemail that says something like, "Between 11:30am and 1:30pm, we are unavailable due to the lunch rush. Please try again later."

Read moreWe had dinner here on opening weekend because we were so excited to have Chipotle in Rexburg. The wait was long but totally worth it. They were getting food out fast and despite the location being totally full, it was clean and they had everything fully stocked.
Turn to just a few weeks later, we came again to get dinner because our last experience was so good. At 6:30 in the evening with not a soul in the restaurant, they were somehow out of Queso, Pico, Steak, their drinking fountains didn’t work and I literally had no place to put garbage because the trash cans were overflowing. We were told there was no Pico left so we just accepted that and sat down to ear our food. No more than 5 minutes later, another group came through to order and magically had Pico on their food. I rarely leave reviews because I try to give places the benefit of the doubt, especially where this location is new. I was shocked to see so many workers that didn’t seem willing to remedy the apparent problems in the restaurant. Hopefully this is just an anomaly as we really want this...
