Awesome. Totally Awesome. Completely Totally Awesome... Need I say more? The hotel lobby, the decor, the furniture and color comibation was extremely elegant, stylish and modern. The front dest associate, Sheeba, was truly a very nice and friendly young lady.
The staff at the front dest was very friendly, courteous and professional. They literally welsomed us with open arms... I thought this is because they were starved of guests. But, we soon realized by looking at the parking lot that the hotel was kinda full. We then understood that it is their culture to welcome guests. This is genuine, small town American hospitality at its best. We enjoyed it!
The staff was very helpful with information on local places to eat, things to do, etc. By the way, there are good places to eat within walking distance of the hotel.
The pool was very clean and neat with a great view of the wheat crops outside. The fitness center was very clean and neat with all the machines functioning very well. The complimentary breakfast was just unbelievably good with amazing variety. The coffee was great too!
The rooms were extremely spacious and elegant. We had a room with two queen size beds. The beds were clean, neat and firm. The pillows, bedsheets and blankets were all of top quality. The bathrooms, closet and toilets were absolutely fantastic and very, very clean. The toiletries were also of very good quality.
Overall, we were very very happy with the Springhill Suites in Rexburg, Idaho. Next time, we will surely stay there again and we will recommend all our friends who are on their way to Yellowstone National Park to stay there. If we go back to this hotel, we will check in at the earliest possible time and check out at the last possible time so we can enjoy the various amenities of the hotel such as pool and the fitness center at least a couple of times. We will also explore beautiful Rexburg, Idaho, go bowling, eat Mexican, Chinese and American food, Go visit a farm or something...interact with the...
Read moreI have a 10 month old crawler and her outfit was black after crawling around the carpet in our room for 30 minutes - disgusting! The couch had what looked to be drops of blood and white stains on it. We had to beg for towels and wash cloths the entire 5 day stay. We finally gave up and took some from the pool area. Our AC unit leaked all over the place. Maintenance came to fix it and they were the nicest, friendliest people in this hotel. Front desk seemed like they didn't want to be bothered with anything, no hospitality. It was a task to ask them for anything. Our keycard kept deactivating the entire 5 day stay. We had to keep going downstairs and having it reactivated. They told us it was because of our magnetic wallet - okay. Kept it in front pocket. Then the excuse was our phone deactivated it. Ok. We literally held the keycard in our hand to go to the laundry room and it deactivated again. Went to the front desk to have it reactivated and told them that it wasn't our keys, wallet, or phone - they made a snarky remark and said, " What do you want maintenence to come look at your door now?" (Maintenance had already looked at our leaky AC that drenched our floor). My daughter needed dish soap for me to wash her bottles. I only asked for a pea sized amount from the kitchen until I made it to Walmart and that was an issue for the front desk staff. Other than the attitude and demeanor of the staff the breakfast options were very limited. The beds aren't exactly comfortable, and in our large 2 king and pull out sofa room we had 2 outlets to charge our electronics- which were already being used by a light and alarm clock. We can overlook the technical issues (air conditioning, electrical sockets, etc.) but I can't overlook the rude, condescending nature of the employees here. I have never been treated like this by hotel employees and I've traveled A LOT. I will not be staying with...
Read moreWOW!! This location needs Corporate attention!! This was and is the worst location based on poor cleaning protocols. The underage staff may have something to do with it. Now granted we booked online when we arrived in town, not sure where/when we'll be. So it seems we got the last room available. I always wondered what is the last room hotels save for the last room. Seems we found the answer, it's the employee lounge room!! Bathroom was previously used, used towels, toilet was running-kept overfilling, ( I fixed it though!!) Bathroom floor was sticky/dirty and smelled of urine. Yes URINE! There was a Styrofoam lunch box in the trash receptacle. The bed looked used as the top cover was wrinkled and pillows disarray. Stain on the sofa, but a throw pillow tried to cover it up. Morning breakfast was a nightmare! 3 or 4 High school students working?( appeared to be confused) in the serving area, (I talked to the student advisor overseeing the students), out of breakfast items and coffee. Granted 100% occupancy, but management should have prepared ahead of time, Hello Management, where are you? I asked to speak to the MOD, but the young girl at the desk, said she did not know where he/she is? Trash at the elevator cans still at 9AM. 10AM at checkout, trash still in the outside cans, broken card reader entrance box at side door, trash all over the parking lot, full trash can at 6:30AM at the business Desk, hallway carpet in need of a deep clean. TOTALLY DISGUSTING! This location needs to see SpringHill Suites in Great Falls MT, to experience how a hotel operates!! The WOW factor is served there!! What would be the point of complaining at night? I checked the app, and there were no more rooms. So, someone please contact management (if any) and clean up this Marriott, or...
