Denny's — Restaurant in Rialto

THE WORST EXPERIENCE EVER! We arrived there at 11:45pm. As we were coming in, 3 servers were coming in to the restaurant at the same time. 1 of them sat us at our booth and went to the cash register to talk to the manager, the other 2 went to the restroom. We sat for about 10-15 before the server and manager noticed that we hadn't gotten drinks. Mind you, When we got there, there was only one other couple there- so they were not busy. When the server finally came to take our drink order, we also ordered our food. At that time, Another couple came into the restaurant and were seated behind us. They too, waited for about 15 min, without ordering drinks. They got tired of waiting, complained to the chefs, since no one else was around, and left. The chefs told the manager what happened. The manager then went to the restroom to get all the servers out ( since by then, all 3 servers were in there). By this time it was already 12:15. My husband and I were trying to be patient, so we waited what turned out to be another 25 min. and noticed the manager just hanging out with the servers. Our server finally came back to our table at about 12:40 to see if we needed more coffee, and we asked how much longer for the food. Her reply was "OH, YOU ORDERED FOOD?" I couldn't believe it. We had literally sat there for an hour. We payed for our coffee and decided to leave. As we were walking out we noticed that the manager and another server were sitting on the other side of the restaurant eating their meals. Very dissatisfied in the service that was provided. Somebody made the poor selection of giving me a gift card for Denny's. That meant after suffering through the service and food one time,and not wanting to go back again,I was forced to go back, to use up the card.I was with company in order to use up the gift card faster, but it still made me suffer through a total of three meals, and we ordered dinner! It's not only the overpriced menu, It's the ridiculous add-ons! For instance if you order something that needs hot sauce they bring you the 50 Cent bottles in their pocket and you ask them for some kind of salsa sauce, or jalapenos or anything like that, and they say that's extra and not just a few cents. It's ridiculous when you're spending 16.99 or more on a dinner and you have to pay for some salsa to go with it. I mean I can go to any fast food Mexican drive-thru and get pre-packaged homemade salsa of three or four varieties with my burrito without even asking for it.Then it's the poor setup of the waitresses and Waiters, or servers, I should say, by changing in the middle of our dinner the server so that the new server doesn't even come around until we're all out of beverages and we're almost done eating! Don't much care for yelling from our table to the other end of the restaurant to the Busboy in a foreign language, and the busboy yelling back also in a foreign language! As far as I'm concerned...

Id give a 0 if i could. It was horrible service. We arrived and were told to seat ourselves by Veronica (there were 2 people before us that were also told the same). After we seated ourselves right at the entrance to the right side of the restaurant we waited...and waited...and waited to be approached by a waitress. After approximately 20 minutes of waiting, I got up and asked a passing waitress if she could call someone over to give us menus and ask our drinks. She proceeded to ask us who seated us and when we explained how we were told to find a seat, she said she will call someone over to us and pointed out our waitress. So we waited some more. Finally after the waitress found the person who was supposed to service our area, we thought we would be served. But to our surprise the waitress meant to serve our area was extremely upset and sent another woman to service us. So we were fed up. The waitress that was sent over to us seemed overworked and upset. She had an attitude which is understandable considering she had more on her plate, but the behavior of the other waitresses was despicable. We ended up leaving and not a soul (waitresses or managers) noticed. This place is a waste of time and space. Will NEVER...
