M2M Bakery — Restaurant in Richardson

I was looking for a wedding cake and after calling and visiting several places decided on M2M Bakery - bride-to-be was very busy and I (was) volunteered. I came into the store basically needing a wedding cake for 40 people. She worked with me and in my case, I asked her to get the flowers (though I gave some direction on flower color). I chose, or should I say, my fiance' via text chose, strawberry with white filling (though the red velvet cupcake I sampled tasted great and would have made a good cake).

We could not have been happier! The cake looked and tasted amazing, and my wife even noticed that M2M went through the extra effort to wrap each stem of the flowers on the cake. The seven layer cake was made with fresh strawberries, the cake itself was very fresh and fluffy, and the cream cheese frosting was incredible. They even delivered (one less thing for me to worry about). Quite a few people at the wedding wanted to know where we got the cake, and we will definitely be back to order more. Thank you M2M!!

So happy to finally find this little bakery shop operates by the bakery chef owner. We had pass by this shop many occasions but haven’t had the opportunity to order the wonderful bakery. I’m blessed to pick up a small pandan cake with toro and coconut fillings without preordering. The owner is kind and attentive to dress up my cake with my impromptu visit.

The cake was not too sweet unlike many bakeries. The fillings have rich texture and flavor. The most important the cake is not dry but very fluffy.

I will definitely revisit this place ordering different flavor cakes. Highly recommend this place but don’t be disappointed and mad if you didn’t preorder.

We decided to return and preordered our cake for our children baptism celebration. Many of our friends loved the texture and the flavor of our cake. Not too sweet and not dry. The baker handles her cake with pride and consistency.

I decided to get my little sister a cake from here because of the phenomenal reviews, and my experience was exceptional! They have traditional cake flavors like strawberry, chocolate, and red velvet, but the flavors that caught my eye were taro, pandan young coconut, and green tea white chocolate (although I was told their durian cakes are also a very popular choice!). Ultimately I ended up choosing taro, which arrived in a beautifully frosted cake. Cutting into the cake revealed a gorgeous hue of lavender along with layers of light frosting and taro. I’m not familiar with Thai-style cakes, but it was so delicious! The texture was light and airy like a delicate sponge cake, while the taste had just a hint of sweetness and the perfect amount of taro flavor. Thank you everyone for recommending this wonderful bakery, and I’d like to especially thank the owner for her amazing cakes and pastries! From now on, we’ll try to order for special occasions...
