I used to come here with my dad when I was a kid, maybe 15-20 years ago. Stopped back in last week to see if it was how I remembered. The place has definitely seen better days. The restaurant was dim and empty, there were dirty dishes in the corner booth, and the same old fish tank looked like it needs a cleaning. We ordered combination lo mien and spicy fried chicken. The lo mien was mostly just noodles, not a whole lot of meat or veg in it. The chicken was OK, and was definitely the better choice between the two entrees. Egg drop soup was the same as it always was. Both the table and the plates felt dirty. It was sad to see this place in decay. Came to Oriental Express for takeout tonight and was pleasantly surprise how good the food and service were. Came by around 8:30 and got the sesame chicken w/ fried rice (7.25$) and the spicy fried chicken (6.75$). Both dishes comes with an egg roll and fried wonton. The food took less than 5 mins to cook and tasted pretty good. The portion size was decent for the price and they give you a lot of fried rice or more like white rice with seasoning sauce.
