Okay… so I’ve never been to Peru, but I’ve eaten chicken in quite a few places across the globe: Gus’s Famous Fried Chicken in Memphis, Eischen’s Bar in Okarche Oklahoma, the infamous halb Hähnchen at Oktoberfest…This Munay place really knows what it’s doing. Get the half chicken and an Inca Kola to blend right in with the locals… and don’t forget the “green sauce”! Totally happy we randomly decided to stop by for lunch today. We were feeling adventurous today. I got the papa relleno and antichuchos. The papa relleno was delicious with the salsa/oil dressing. The 2 skewers of heart were large. I enjoyed the flavor very much. I'm fine with the texture but warn others who aren't familiar with a tough meat like heart to understand that it's a little tough, but not in an unpleasant way. It’s a first time try it, and we had to go order. It’s a small but clean place. There are a lot of options on the menu and we had the combo 11, which has half chicken, one stick beef heart kebab, and the rachi (beef tribe and roasted potatoes). The food are very tasty and rich in flavor. we never tried Peru food before but we loved it! The amount of our combo is good for two people.
