Reem Couture: A Magical Experience

From the very first phone call with Reem, I knew we were in capable and compassionate hands. Reem was kind, attentive, and genuinely considerate of my concerns. I shared my struggles in finding a prom dress for my daughter, Alexandra, who needed something within a tight budget and timeline. The dress had to fit perfectly, as Alexandra is plus-sized, and had to be in her favorite colors—blue or purple. Reem listened intently and reassured me that we could make it happen.

She promptly scheduled Alexandra’s first fitting, during which she spoke with my daughter to understand her vision and preferences for the dress. What truly impressed me was how Reem took the time to sit with Alexandra, patiently listening and even reviewing the dress sketches Alexandra had drawn. It was clear that this wasn’t just business for Reem—it was a collaboration built on care and understanding.

The real magic unfolded during Alexandra’s second fitting at Reem’s boutique. When Alexandra tried on the dress, it was as if the shop transformed into a fairy tale setting. Reem, along with her daughter Joudi and their attentive staff, helped Alexandra step into the dress. As she stood before the grand, gold-framed mirror, she was mesmerized. The moment became even more enchanting when Reem and Joudi added the finishing touch—long, slender white gloves. Watching Alexandra stretch out her arms and smile, I could see the transformation: she wasn’t just wearing a dress; she had become a princess.

Reem’s boutique itself is a place of inspiration and creativity, with walls lined with dresses in every color, from timeless whites to vibrant pinks adorned with glitter, diamonds, and feathers. Mannequins dressed in breathtaking gowns added to the dreamy atmosphere. It was a space where beauty and imagination flourished.

As parents of a young autistic adult with epilepsy, we are always searching for meaningful, positive experiences for Alexandra—whether in medical settings or special moments like this. Reem Couture exceeded every expectation and brought unparalleled joy to Alexandra’s journey. This year, Alexandra attended the Tim Tebow Foundation’s “Night to Shine,” a prom celebrating individuals with disabilities. On the ride home, when I asked her what the best part of the prom was, she simply said, “I did not feel invisible.”

Reem is one of the sweetest people I have ever met, beyond her designs she is truly a good-hearted person who wants to deliver quality to you and make you feel special on any occasion. She was able to alter 4 very intricately beaded dresses for me to fit me like a glove, and design and created a dress for me as well. I was able to choose out the fabrics and beading I wanted, came in for fittings and she more than delivered! I am so grateful I met Reem, my wedding was approaching quickly and she met my timeline even though I kept bringing her more and more dresses to alter! I cannot say enough amazing things about Reem! I flew all the way from DC just to have her work on my wedding dress because of all the incredible reviews I had heard—and she exceeded every expectation. She went above and beyond to fix my dress, and I am beyond grateful for her expertise and kindness.
