As frequent travelers from Austin to Dallas, Ramallah Bakery had always been our go-to bakery. Unfortunately, our latest visit left a bittersweet taste, not because of the food, but due to an unsettling experience with the billing process.

Typically, I place substantial orders, and this time was no different. However, the billing process at Ramallah bakery has always been somewhat vague, with receipts listing only charges without item names. This lack of detail never seemed problematic until my recent visit. I was informed the total was $95, which I paid without hesitation. Later, a review of my bank statement revealed a charge of $150, not the $95 I was told.

Perplexed, I scrutinized the receipt. It showed a total of $150, with 43 charges, whereas I was certain I had only purchased 36 items. The absence of item names on the receipt made it impossible to determine where the discrepancy lay. This oversight in billing transparency is not only inconvenient but strikes me as unprofessional for an established business.

Despite this unfortunate incident, it's important to acknowledge the quality of their offerings. The food remains exceptional, a testament to their culinary prowess. Additionally, their new seating area is a thoughtful touch, providing a cozy nook for travelers like us to enjoy their delicious treats with a soothing cup of tea.

In conclusion, while the food at Ramallah bakery continues to be a delight, the recent experience with their billing process was disheartening. I hope they take this feedback as constructive and consider providing itemized receipts to ensure clarity and trust with their customers.

UPDATES: I'VE TALKED TO THE OWNER ABU ADAM AND HE IS NICE AND PROFESSIONAL AND HE APOLOGIZED FOR THE INCIDENT AND AS A RESULT I AM UPDATING MY...

I am totally impressed with this bakery. I have visited 3 times in the last two weeks to enjoy their pillowy soft and freshly baked bread and tasty pastries! I wish they were closer to my home, but maybe it is a good thing because otherwise I would be there every single day!

Don't let the outside fool you, as I first thought the bakery was a small grocery store. Just be sure to go to the left when you enter to purchases baked goods such as meat pies, Za'tar pies, potato stuffed pies, falafel sandwiches and more. If you want fresh baked bread or other groceries make a right and go to the grocery side of the establishment. However, you must pay for everything on the bakery side. We have tried the meat pies. Za'tar pies, potato hand pies, fajitas meat pies, spinach pies, the samon breads, pita breads, and a bread that is in the shape of a circle but I don't quite remember the name of it. The meat pies, Za'tar pies and the samon breads are our favorites. Everything we ordered was fresh and delicious.

There is a small dining area on the grocery side of the establishment, however it is self serve. There is hot water and complimentary tea bags and sage to make tea if you wish to enjoy tea with your meal. The folks who work there were mostly friendly and thanked us for coming when we were leaving. I highly recommend this bakery for fresh bread and pastries. Definitely will return to try out more of the freshly...

I usually like going here to the point I decided to cater from them; I ordered a large ordered four days before the order we agreed on time and everything I asked the person I spoke to if they required payment he said no need I told him if I can drop by I’ll drop by and pay you for the order. Agreed time was 9:15 and I told him I’ll push it to 9:30. We get there at 10:15 because of unforeseen delays but we were assuming that’s better for our situation in that way we ensure the order is ready. When we get there they let us it’s not ready yet and they delayed it to give it to us fresh; we waited a bit but couldn’t wait anymore so we said give us whatever is ready and let’s move on that’s when they informed us that because we didn’t show up on time they thought we cancelled the order; makes sense if they sold everything we ordered from them but guess what they didn’t even make them, and the lady refused to admit their mess up instead tried to say it on us we didn’t call them when we are on the way “ which we weren’t informed of” Sadly it was a horrible experience for a catering order and I wouldn’t recommend making a catering order from them because they will most likely not make it and ask you to wait there so they...

update : they expand their store and added more things to the menu. you can eat ur food hot right there as now there are tables and chairs avaible. one of my fav thing is Musakha . not much luck with kunfa causes it either sold out or not avaible a hidden gem in dallas area we ordered muhammara , foul , falafel and spinach pies which translate to fatayer in arabic food has authentic flavor and yet simple not complicated ingredients. there are variety in the items form meat and vegetarians options they bake the pastries right here and there fresh upon order it is also a market as well so u can find frozen Kibbeh, drinks and other middle eastern treat we actually came back later on the afternoon to buy home made ice-cream coconut and strawberry- kiwi flavors which both of them where really good it is mom and pop store and both of them extremally nice and welcoming and i encourage everyone to visit ! one thing i highly recommend is putting a simple menu so ppl can come and know wt is available and make there order. a menu even if it is printed from A4 ppr .

This is our first time to Ramallah Bakery and definitely not our last. They have the juiciest Mosakhan Pastry like no other, perfection to the smallest details whether the sumac they use, or pure olive oil; a taste from homeland Palestine. The kibbeh was the best I had in town not too oily or greasy full of meat and just enough pine nuts to give it its texture. 😋 Its a tiny shop hidden with gemstones of flavor 💎 Our friend recommended this place and we can’t thank him enough for such a discovery. Ramallah Bakery await our next visit am definitely getting more !! الله يسعدكم مثل ما اسعدتم قلوبنا اطيب مسخن وكبة في دالاس دون منازع 😇
