Wonder Quakertown — Restaurant in Richland Township

Just to be clear, I haven't eaten or picked up in-store, so "atmosphere" is 4 stars primarily because it's in Walmart.

That said, I've ordered via Wonder App & Uber Eats (delivery) more times than I'd like to admit.

So far I've tried Burger Baby, Limesalt, Meats & Bread, & the BBQ place. All are really great. I'm not a burger & fries fan, but the truffle fries and "burger tacos" at Burger Baby are delicious and a great value. Never have issues with cook temps, sogginess, etc. Love this place!

The Meat & Bread place is all of the cold and hot hoagies you could ask for, but honestly...i hate soggy bread and w/ a hot hoagie for delivery...theres no avoiding it. I tried the Shroomshire and WISH they'd lay parchment or wax paper under the ingredients to avoid the sog, but despite that the flavors are really great.

The garlic fries and sauce for dipping are AMAZING. A must try!

Limesalt is kind of like Bubakoo's (tex mex), but has more authentic sauces, add ons, and LOTS of bowls. You can build your own anything and though some bowls were a bit light for the price, everything is really tasty.

I recommend getting a side of tortilla shells if you get a bowl because it really stretches the ingredients and allows you to be creative.

The BBQ place was a one time thing. Nothing wrong with it, just really high prices for prime rib that I'm not that big on and I didn't feel it was a great value for the options.

The desserts? Good luck! They're always sold out and 1 cookie is like $7.00 or 3 mini cupcakes for $10? Nope. I'm sure they're delicious, but the Dessert store is way out of the reasonable range IMO.

However.

The customer service is EXCELLENT. When you order in their app, they ask you to rare your experience (a short survey like you'd do for Doordash or Uber Eats) and I was stunned to discover their customer service RESPONDED to the survey in great detail about each thing I mentioned & seemed genuinely interested in improving options, service, etc.

I mentioned in passing that Wonder should offer true veggie/salad options because it's a lot of meat, meat, bread, pizza, and more meat! Not a criticism, more a suggestion.

They gave me a $5 credit for providing the review and "for my trouble" though I wasn't at all upset. It was a pleasant surprise to see that a real person read my survey.

This past weekend, I ordered via Wonder App and am trying out their free trial of Fast Pass. Not sure what happened, but an order with 1 burger, 1 fry, & a kids chicken tender took well over an hour on a Saturday afternoon. I was puzzled & unsure if something happened to my order (I'm literally a 5 min drive away), so I used the "text customer service" in the app and just inquired about my order.

They responded immediately, suddenly the food was on my doorstep, and gave me a $10 credit for the "unacceptable length of time for Fast Pass" (which I didn't expect or ask for) and again...it was a live person who was fast and friendly.

I hope they expand further and get some of the other restaurants and would highly recommend trying their app bc the service and options are really great. There's "competitions" you can join to earn credits (like "spend X dollars on 3 order by date X" to earn substantial credits.

I haven't officially used their referral program, but it's also an excellent value whether you're referring or accepting a referral.

I want to try pick up soon to check out the layout and would recommend to anyone wanting to order from 5 different restaurants, mix and match...all arriving in one order.

But it's really the customer service that puts it at a five 🌟 🌟🌟🌟🌟 ahead of the rest.

I hope they keep it up and have no idea why I haven't taken photos, but will update with pics my next order.

Streetbird:

The chicken wasn't my favorite. It was decent chicken, however, kinda plain for my taste. The coleslaw was ok. I like mine a little on the sweet side. This had none of that. The Mac n cheese mixed with greens was by far the best thing ordered. Good flavor, liked the bread crumbs on top.

Tejas:

Potato salad was delicious! Very egg based. Highly recommend. The pastrami had a nice spice. It was tender and pulled easily apart. It comes with mustard & pickles (I opted for no pickle). It was a bit dry though. The chicken tenders were worthy of a kids taste buds only. The chicken tasted compressed. I'm not sure if I liked the carrot souffle or not. It was not sweet at all. I had the pork belly from Tejas, truffle fries and a bacon burger melt from Burger baby. The Pork Belly was good, a lot of flavor in the fat cap, the bbq sauce it came with was a nice compliment to the flavor the belly had. The truffle fries were great, seasoned well with a truffle sauce to dip them in. The burger could have used a little seasoning, not a bad burger by all means just a little seasoning would have given it a better taste. All and all would I go back?
