Lucky Bao Food Truck — Restaurant in Richland

Not a great experience. Went at lunch time specifically to try the scallion pancakes and tofu & celery Bao and they had none made. Nothing vegetarian on the menu was available so several people in my group had to get food elsewhere. Was told he didn't prep any for the day. Those who ordered from here ended up ordering the pork soup dumplings (which were excellent) and the handmade dumplings (which were average). They had photos on Facebook of the dumplings being fried and steamed, but was told steamed was the only option which was also disappointing. Okay, the bao here was so good I literally almost shed a tear! Seriously! The last time I had good bao was in Portland and, honestly, Lucky Bao is BETTER! The flavor of the filling is perfectly ballanced with the steamed bun, the meat is so tender and juicy it melts in your mouth! The fried rice actually had vegetables AND flavor! (I know, rare in the tri-cities. But true none the less.) My wife looooved the scallion pancake, the hand made dumplings, and she said the soup dumplings are AMAZING! If we could give more than 5 stars we would. We will definitely be eating here again, probably...

First time treating Lucky Bao. I’m a delivery driver so time is of the essence. I also have my kids with me while working. They wanted dumplings, and to my surprise it took only 7ish minutes to make. I was there watching from cutting the dough to steaming the dumplings. All fresh made to order. We ordered pork dumpling and 2 pork boo buns.
