Worst service ever!! I ordered for curbside which the employee said would be ready in five minutes. After several calls and 45 minutes later I was still waiting for burgers and fries. When I called the location from the parking lot (for the fifth time) the employee said the food was sitting on the counter. When I asked if it was cold the employee said NO it was sitting under a heat lamp. Well no surprise it was cold when they brought it out five minutes later (now 50 minutes later) AND the food was cold.
The employee said it's not cold it was under a heat lamp. She refused to take the food because she said COVID because I might have it. I asked for a refund and she said fine. She went to get a manager but I waited another 12 minutes and had to call again. Another employee came out and said I cannot give you a refund because our system is acting up so I need your debit card again. Well, I could not find it because it dropped between the seat and the carpet in my truck. So I had to get out and search my truck because he said his system could not refund in cash.
The manager said that she was trying to figure out the refund for me. So I had to wait another 9 minutes. The manager came out with a refund subtracting the food that they refused to take back which was cold. I then refused to sign the credit slip and asked for a manager and the owners name and contact info. This manager stated she will not be give this information to me and I explained that is fine I will look it up myself on Department of Licensing for businesses and make contact myself.
That is when the interaction got worse and just kept going on. At one point she was saying I need my clipboard back and you need to sign the refund slip. I got in my car to look up the information for the owner and she proceeded to yell over and over I need my clipboard back. Then I heard her radio someone and state she is asking for contact info and the owners name I need you to come over here. Then the manager said she will give me a cash refund for the cold food and milkshake but she is going to need the items back. I said fine and then she walked to the trash and threw the food in the garbage. Now I have been waiting at curbside for over an hour for burgers and fries from a fast food restaurant.
Crazy and inept the staff is at this location to resolve issues. Do not go to this place if you want your food in less than an hour and a half plus want your food hot! Plus the employees have the worst attitudes and have no strategies on how to handle problems when they arise. Trina has no idea how to handle service issues plus another guy that helped lacked the strategies to solve the issue. I recently had an extremely unsatisfactory experience at Zip's Fast Food that has left me deeply disappointed and frustrated. After ordering a meal with specific instructions for no tomatoes, I was disheartened to discover that not only were there tomatoes in my food, but it was also served cold. Understandably disappointed, I called the restaurant to address the issue, only to be told to return and that my order would be remade correctly.
Hoping for a resolution, I returned to the restaurant with my receipt and the incorrect food, only to be met with further disappointment. The staff flatly refused to rectify the mistake, despite my clear evidence and the assurance given to me over the phone. The lack of accountability and unwillingness to correct their error left me appalled and utterly disheartened.
The abysmal customer service I received during this entire ordeal was simply unacceptable. As a result of this experience, I have decided that I will no longer be patronizing Zip's Fast Food. It is regrettable that a once favored establishment has let its standards slip so dramatically. I can no longer justify wasting my hard-earned money on a business that fails to uphold even the most basic customer service standards.
In conclusion, my experience at Zip's Fast Food was nothing short of a letdown. The cold food and the staff's refusal to address their mistake have led me to the conclusion that my patronage is no longer welcome. Read moreToday's visit was very nice. I first want to say how beautiful and clean this place is. My mother and I ordered our food but then decided to change it to a special, which made me since, but man, it was an ordeal. Don't worry, there was no one behind us, I checked. The workers were very understanding and, one point, very apologetic for the wait, especially Becky she really took control of the situation, pulling people from the back when someone came in. She was very respectful. I wish every encounter that I had with anyone would go as smooth as she made it. This woman deserves a raise. I think every restaurant owner needs to come in and have lunch and just observe the whole place. We got our food to go, and the only advice I have and why I didn't give a 5-star is because of their fries. We got in the car, and of course, we tried the fries, and they weren't fresh at all and could've used more salt. But if that's the only complaint, wow, that's an easy fix. Great job, Zips.
