I never do this. I believe in feed back as it's needed in lieu of holding back. Called to place an order for pick up. A gentleman answered the phone. He started taking my order and placed me on hold less than a minute in. Was on hold for what felt like a very long time but probably wasn't more than a few minutes. The same gentleman came back on the line and I had to start the order over. Half way through that order the gentleman gave the call to a woman. Didn't tell me he was leaving. I told her I'd been on the phone with a male and was now confused. She said he left because he needed to go make dough??? Growing frustrated I told her this was not good and had to repeat the order for a third time. Now most would have hung up by this point but I still wanted to give them a chance. It's a brand new business and I know I'd want an understanding ear. As she recited the order back to me wrong - she did correct herself as I'm sure my noticeable frustration rattled her - she was ready to get me of the phone. I gave her our name so it would be easy at pick up. I then made a snide "Thank you _ & __ for getting our order after three tries." I don't like myself when I act so small and rude like that. It is embarrassing and I apologize publicly for it. It was the end of a long day just like I'm sure it was for _ & _. Out of more respect than I was shown I am choosing to put myself out there and protect the identities of the two employees. I'm choosing to assume that _ had an emergency he had to attend to and that's why he handed the phone to someone else while I was speaking. You truly never know and perceptions are quite strong. I'm simply suggesting that next time it might be a better outcome for everyone to just explain what's going on. Clarity brings understanding. __ & _ put yourself in my shoes as I did yours. I'm sure you understand why I was aggravated as I believe you would have been as well. Despite everything I'm looking forward to eating our first pizza from one of Richmond Hill's newest businesses!! Pizza! Pizza! :-)...
Read moreExtremely crowded. Only 1 person at the front counter: Young lady at the register appeared to not be organized with the orders. After 20 -25 mins, Witnessed several customers who placed their ordered and paid after me received their order, which lead me to question what happened to my order per my receipt. The young lady refused to provide me feedback or explanation. She continued to ask customers ( who came in after me) for what they ordered with bring their order to them, instead of following up with me deliberately. I asked another employee of Little Caesars and let him know the young lady did not follow up and provided no feedback when asked about my order. I showed him my reciept, He checked in the back and came back with my order only to view was not my order which had mushrooms and my order did not include mushrooms. Within 5-10 mins located my pizza turned out to be in total wait time: 35-40 mins for sausage/pepperoni/onion & peppers. The Caesar employee (gentleman) Apologize for the delay & error showing mushrooms. Two to Three staff members are needed at the counter to keep track via numbering system with effective feedback / communication and keep a watchful eye on the flow of paying customers per reciept vs online orders vs telephone orders. Ignoring a customer even when an error is made is not the answer. The solution should be: Own the error and communicate effectively the solution. Organizational skills are needed and it starts with the front register. Disappointed with the initial service of the young lady at the...
