AJ's Main Street Diner — Restaurant in Richmond

The employees are amazing! So kind, friendly and go above & beyond for their customers. Must try if you live in Richmond or are traveling through. Menu is small but has a great variety to choose from. You can choose breakfast or lunch anytime while they are open which is awesome!! I love the blt & seasoned fries, 2 of my favorite items on the menu. The pancakes are some of the best in town & very big! Everything is extreamly affordable, I don't think they have anything on the menu over $7 & everything we have tried has been amazing! They surprised my son on his birthday with a candle in his pancakes which was so kind and unexpected. Daily lunch specials!!! We will always continue going back to enjoy the food & company...

I just came across ajs diner about 3 months ago and since then my wife and I try to eat there as much as we can. Each time that I have gone there to eat, I have gotten something different every time and the food is amazing there's nothing there that's bad! It's a small hole in the wall restaurant that probably has the best food in Richmond Indiana when it comes to hole in The Wall restaurants. There isn't a whole lot of places to sit but however I have never had to wait to be seated so it's either I go in there at just the right time or people are just fast eaters.. AJ's main Street diner 100% for sure deserves five stars if I could give more than five...

Admittedly, I have been delaying this post for far too long; purely due to my own selfishness of not wanting to share my favorite spot in town.

Breakfast at AJ's has become a Friday must for my wife and I (sometimes we let the kids come too). Our favorite is an order of biscuits and gravy with two eggs, cooked to order, nestled on top.
