Today I had to write a heartbreaking letter to Panda express.... I am breaking up with them. I have found a new love, Bradys. My last few visits at Panda the food wasn't hot and the good thing about being a Dasher is finding new places. Bradys has extremely friendly, fast, and efficient employees. The place is always spotless and the food is simply amazing. The young girl with glasses that works the register has one of the best greetings I have every heard. I was a former truck driver cross country and I haven't heard a better greeting anywhere. She definitely deserves a pat on the back. The 2 sushi chefs are always smiling and produce what I would consider art, not food lol. The cooks always do a amazing job and the food is prepared fresh as you order it, not placed in heated pans. Theres only one place I eat in Richmond besides this place, and its 2 doors down. Bradys Asian fusion. Great job Bradys. Only 2 things I could suggest but since they are opinion I didnt let these effect my review. 1. Please dont spray that disinfectant around people eating. I know you need to clean the tables but when I was eating this stuff was sprayed 3 tables away and its so strong it made my food taste like it for a bit. Smell is a lot of what produces taste. 2. Maybe offer minced Cauliflower as a low carb option.

I visited Brady's Sushi and Hibachi in the afternoon, and with friends because we were all a little concerned. That is to say: from the outside it definitely looks more like a place where you'd get a burger and a shake than an amazing serving of Sushi and Hibachi. However, upon entering Brady's, we were delighted to find a modern interior. That surprisingly good experience didn't end after that, though. Once we were ready to order, we were moved through the line very quickly, given our table number, and we chose our own seats. The wait for our food was quick as far as sushi goes, and items like gyoza came out even sooner. Once we started to eat, it became clear that this restaurant truly was much more than its outward appearance would let on to. The sushi was easily as good as what you'd get at a much more upscale restaurant, yet everything else about the restaurant was casual. My single roll was more than enough to fill me up, so I didn't try the Hibachi this visit, though I'll definitely be back for it, and my friends that ordered it said it was very good. Overall, I was extremely surprised with how good Brady's was. If you want reasonably priced sushi in a casual setting, and you actually care about the quality of your sushi, Brady's is my first recommendation.

You don’t get what you pay for at Brady’s. I ordered a full hibachi chicken dinner with fried rice and paid extra for a side of noodles. When I got home, I discovered there was no rice at all in the order. I drove all the way back to give them a chance to make it right, but the owner only provided a tiny side portion of rice instead of the full dinner serving I had paid for. When I tried to explain the issue to the cashier, I was told, “the boss gave you more noodles,” which makes no sense since I had already paid extra for those noodles in addition to the rice. It’s disappointing to see this place going downhill due to poor customer service and a lack of accountability from ownership. Getting an order wrong is one thing, but refusing to correct it and shortchanging customers after they make the effort to come back is unacceptable.

I really really wanted to like this restaurant! However, I really didn't care for the food much at all. First of all, the customer service and owner I would give 5 stars, because they are very friendly and nice. I ordered the chicken hibachi & the spicy crab sushi & a order of crab Rangoon. The sushi was very very tiny compared to Kroger or Knins sushi (few minutes down the road from this restaurant.) The sushi was not spicy at all, tasted bland and kind of like it had been sitting out for a while. I would give the sushi a 2 stars out of 5.

The crab Rangoon was also kind of bland and didn't have as much cheese taste as other restaurants I've tried it at. I will say it had more crab in it than other places though. I would give the crab Rangoon a 2 1/2 stars out of 5.

The chicken hibachi did have a good amount of flavor, the chicken was good but nothing to brag about. I've had much better hibachi for the same price elsewhere. Also the amount of the hibachi you get is roughly half to what I get at another restaurant that's the same price. Not many veggies at all with the hibachi, disappointed to say the least.

The yum yum sauce is a absolute 0 out of 5 stars. The best way that I know to explain it is. It's very very watery and not very much flavor. It's like someone mixed 80 percent water and 20 percent sauce in it? Maybe to cut costs?? Horrible horrible sauce.

Overall, I'm being very generous giving this place 2 stars out of 5. Kroger sushi is much much better and bigger in size than this place. The same as Knins sushi. Also better price and size at Knins as well. I really wanted to like this place, however, I will not be back again. The portions are wayyyy to small and food is wayyy to bland for the money, when you can drive a couple of minutes down the road to Kroger and Knins to get...

Very good sushi, don't like their ordering system.

If you place an order before they are open they wont get the order and you will have to give them your order number off the confirmation email so they can start making it. I arrived twice after placing an order and they didn't have it ready or even know about the order, they had to get a manager to pull the order up.

According to the manager: They turn off their system at night so if you place an order before they are open for the day even through the website says you can place future orders it wont go through.

Every time that order issue happened I wasted 20 minutes of my lunch break waiting for them to make the rolls when they should have already been prepared. I normally order lunch when I get to work at 7am so they have plenty of time to make everything but this is the one place I cant do that with. When they messed it up last time it took almost half an hour for me to get 2 rolls since they wouldn't prepare the food that was supposed to be ready ahead of a very large order. I get waiting in line and waiting your turn for food to be ready, but when I order at 7am for an 11:15am pickup and its not ready until 11:45am I feel cheated out of my spot in line. Don't make the same mistake I kept making, wait to place orders until they are open or call in your order instead of using the website.

Besides the wonky ordering system the staff seem kind and the sushi is high quality. Even though there was a wait for my food it would always come out freshly made.

I am also a fan of the fact that they don't include avocado in everything, most sushi places use avocado as a cheap filler/substitute for fish since its cheaper. Some places in this city are 50% avocado...

Food was good customer service awful. My husband accidentally pushed the lemonade instead of the water and the employee after taking our order came by our table took the clear 8oz cup of pink tinged water and told him that she would get him water. Then took his cup poured it out and got him water. My husband told the manager what he did and after apologized the manager brought my husband a large pink lemonade. My husband did not want the lemonade so since I paid almost $2 for a drink I drank it. If we had not ordered our food we would have left. To make matters worse my daughter is allergic to carrots ask if they could keep them out of her order same worker told her she couldn't. But when the manager brought order over and my daughter mentioned about the carrots he said we can take out carrots and proceeded to bring her an order with No carrots. Not sure what happened to this place where they treat a customer like a thief because my husband doesn't drink sugar drinks he is a diabetic and my daughter has never had to go to this much trouble to not get carrots left off her meal. A real shame because I like the food but for all the over 50 years I have ate out wasn't sure how to take or understand why the horrible customer service. I can assure you will not be back. Suggestion to the Brady staff. If it will be such a deal to worry that someone might get water than lemonade in their 8oz Dixie cup stop putting the water button on your dispenser and find...
