I loved this place when I first discovered it, but the more times I visit, the more I fall out of love. They have a loyalty program, but you can only take advantage of that if you use the self-order kiosk. A few months ago someone bought me a gift card for Bumble Bites, but if you want to pay with a gift card, you have to pay at the register. So in my situation I had to choose if I wanted my order to go toward my loyalty points or if I wanted to pay with my gift card, you can't do both. It has also become evident to me the more I have gone here that some of the employees are more interested in being helpful than others. I have gone here at times where there are two people behind the counter and both are taking orders and making drinks and it runs quickly and smoothly and I have been here at times when there are two people behind the counter, but only one person is taking orders and making drinks and the other person is just standing around. Most recently, I went to Bumble Bites on a Saturday when they have their musubi and onigiri and I asked the person working if these offerings were gluten free and she had no idea, she just looked at me and shrugged. Their drinks are always delicious and I love the variety of flavors they offer, but the more I visit the more I have started seeing the cracks...
Read moreLet me say… I love Bumble Bites…. normally… go there all the time, my daughter and I… that’s why I am still giving 3 stars… however, I recently ordered the usual Ruby Lychee with one scoop popping boba and 1 scoop lychee jelly… they made it incorrectly and put regular tapioca boba and jelly in it… I said that’s ok and took it anyway…. they never offered to correct it anyway… then while I was drinking it… I felt little gravel like things in it… multiple times… finally I caught one and it was shards of glass… I reported it to the store that day and they just said sorry… then on my next visit in, maybe 3 days later… I showed them the picture of it… and still no offer to replace it, because I had to pour it out once I realized what it was… u would just think they would have at least offered to replace it… this will not stop me from continuing to go there, but come on Bumble Bites… bad customer service!!!
Update: Rea, the store owner, took the time to find my contact info and called me to offer me refund and apology.. which was all I hoped for… she was super friendly and said the communication difference was the issue with why I hadn’t been compensated earlier and asked me to please come back and try them again… which of course I will…. like I stated before it is one of our fav...
Read moreVery delicious drinks! I love visiting here for a drink. New addition of milk alternatives! I love how they always seem to be getting better :D It is unfortunate that they changed the rewards program so you have to buy literally some 800 drinks in order to get a free one. It’s very nice how you can customize your drink how you want, with lots of milk tea bases and toppings (add-ins like tapioca pearls). These are definitely the best tapioca pearls I’ve had at a Boba shop!!They have seasonal specials often that are very nice. I do not recommend any Cheese Foam though, my friends and I have had it a few times and it’s a very tangy-sour taste. Bumble Bites has some good baked goods and on weekends they have Onigiri! They changed the macaroon brand to something that seems cheaper and not as nice. There’s some nice seating for couples or small groups. The staff are always very friendly and have helped out a lot with learning more about types of milk tea and...
