Fazoli's — Restaurant in Richmond

I had the Angus Beef Macaroni and Cheese and Pepperoni Pizza Bread Sticks. It tasted great. UPDATE:. August 5, 2022-I ordered the new Philly Cheese steak Ravioli, Cheese Pizza slice, Bread sticks, and Diet Coke. The ravioli was good. I also ordered the Cinnamon Roll Cheesecake. It was so delicious that I forgot to take a picture of it. Shame on me! UPDATE:. January 2, 2023-I was here today and ordered the Classic Sampler, Diet Pepsi, and the Triple Chocolate Brownie Cheesecake. It was all delicious! This time, I got a picture of the cheesecake! UPDATE:. February 4, 2023-I ordered on the app and ordered the Chicken Carbonara, Bread sticks, Red Velvet Cheesecake, and Diet Pepsi. I had an online coupon for the cheesecake, which took $1 off. All of it was delicious, especially the cheesecake! We need Red Velvet Cheesecake at this time of the year! UPDATE:. March 19, 2023-The food was good, but there were things there I didn't like. They served the food in carry-out dishes, rather than the nice plates we they use. The ladies ' restroom was not cleaned, and the toilet was so dirty I couldn't use it. I complained. UPDATE: April 29, 2023-In my last update, I talked about how bad things were getting here. Well, I think they are getting worse. I placed a mobile order, and when I got there to pick it up, I called to let them know any time it is ready, they can pick it up, just to be polite. They said they never got it. I went in and showed them it was successfully placed. They said it doesn't hit their screen for 10 minutes. There was a line in there, and one person taking orders. I went back to the car and waited for several minutes. When it was time for it to be ready, I went back inside. There was a longer line and no one taking orders. When someone came back, I was told it was still not ready. They were busy with other dine in orders, and I don't know how long the people eating there were waiting, drive thru orders. Somebody came in to pick up an order for Door Dash. I finally got my order 10 minutes late. When I was leaving, the people waiting in line to place orders for dine in were told there was going to be a 30-40 minute wait. This is not fast food! I don't know if someone called off or they can't get help. I decided to try something new, so I ordered the Pizza and 5 Wing Combo, Diet Pepsi, and a New York Style Cheesecake, which I got for free with a birthday reward. I had Cheese Pizza, and it was cold. I had to put in the microwave, which made it taste better, but it wasn't nice and stringy, like pizza from other places. The wings were good, but they were about the size of Chicken McNuggets. Then I found a hair on one of them! Yuck! I probably should have called and complained, but they were too busy to talk to me. The best part was the cheesecake, and I love cheesecake! Delicious! I know managers read Google Maps, and I hope Fazoli's managers read this one. I have always liked Fazoli's, but if they don't start making changes, they are going to be shutting down. UPDATE: June 19, 2023-In my last two updates, I talked about how bad things were getting at Fazoli's, and it was getting worse. Well, I think they got the message, because I think things are starting to turn around. I came with my family to dine in, and we were served quickly. Our food was on the nice plates, not the carry out containers. I ordered the Classic Sampler, and it was delicious as always. We also got a big heaping serving of Bread sticks. They always taste great and make the day! UPDATE: September 22, 2023-I went there yesterday and tried their Classic Pizza Baked Pasta, which is there for a limited time. It is made with Penne Pasta and topped with the ingredients for a pepperoni pizza. It looks like a pepperoni pizza on top of the pasta. It is also available in meat supreme. It is different and tastes great, but I am not sure if it needs to be a permanent part of the menu. Of course, they did serve bread sticks, which were delicious! Jovonnda was our cashier, but she was so much more than that. Her wonderful smile and sweet voice greeted us as we entered the restaurant. She helped us order, provided cups for our drinks, and got my salad for me. Then as we filled our cups she cleaned tabled and counters to make sure the restaurant was clean for guests. She recognized us from visiting a few weeks back. During the last visit I was pregnant. I showed her the baby and we talked for a moment before she went to grab our food. She served us our meal and went back to cleaning and helping the new customers. She later checked on us to see if we needed anything else and offered to bring us boxed for our leftovers. We do not live in town. We live about 40 min from fazolis in Richmond. We I was here a few weeks ago, Jovonnda impressed me so much with her customer service, attention to detail, and desire to keep a clean store while providing customers only the best of service. Its very difficult to impress me with these skills as I was the general manager of a chain restaurant for years, and yet Jovonnda managed to blow me away with her service during both of my visits. If I hadn't decided to go back to school and switch my career field to Computer Science then I absolutely would have been trying to steal her to come work for me at my restaurant. This woman is a rare gem and deserves to be treated as such. I only made the 40 min drive to fazolis today because of the excellent service she provides. The only recommendation I have is that Fazolis give Jovonnda a nice raise so you dont lose her as an employee. She is the kind of employee that keeps people...

I ALWAYS order the baked lasagna when I go to Fazoli’s. I’m a little picky at times and it’s my favorite. For some reason I decided to try the new tortellini dish. Its sounds amazing…tortellini stuffed with cheese in a cheese sauce. I must have read incorrectly or something because it was a marinara/alfredo combination sauce. (Which might be right up someone else’s alley, Again, I’m just kinda weird about some colors, textures and foods mixing). The girl brought it to us, I kinda picked at it but had already decided I wasn’t going to eat it. She was so sweet and offered to bring me something else even though it was through ZERO FAULT of their own that I didn’t want it. I panicked and ordered fettuccini Alfredo after glancing at my husbands plate 🤦🏼‍♀️ Again, I sat and didn’t eat it (although their Alfredo is delicious) Our bill ended up being around $85 with us and all of our children, so upon leaving I asked a manager for help to get my points scanned into my account because I was having trouble & because $85 is a lot of points, lol. She was amazing, helped me & printed a new receipt & as I was getting ready to close my app, it popped up on screen that I had earned a free lasagna, lol. So I did finally eat on the way home & it was delicious as always & did not disappoint! Through all of the above and my indecision, the staff was still awesome. Store was clean, including the bathroom. This is definitely a 5...
