The young lady that took our order was great because I changed my mind on my drink from a coke to iced tea, but, the manager (who refused to give me her name when I called back) seemed to be berating her about our order. I heard the cashier explain what happened with the drink change. I ordered a Qrt pounder with cheese and bacon meal and my wife ordered the 2 cheeseburger meal with no onions. We got our food & got back on the express way. My wife took one bite of her cheeseburger and spit it back in the paper because it had onions on it, so did the other one, even though the receipt and tag on the burgers said no onion. Then I looked at my burger and No Bacon, again even though it was on the tag and charged for it on the receipt. I called the number on the receipt which was a voicemail for the local corporate office. I then found the direct number on the web and called the location. The first time I called I was hung up on when I asked for a manager. I called back and asked if I was speaking to a manager and advised I was previously hung up on. She cut me off and said it's a know problem and they hang up on people if they can not hear them. I told her about my order being wrong and she said to come back, when I advised I was traveling from another state and already on the highway and just wanted to be credited the difference for the mixed up/wrong order, she said she could not do that and launched into this long rant into what she couldn't do and why. Advised I could call corporate and when I asked for her name just so I knew who I talked to she refused, her tone completely changed and said "I'm not gonna give you my name, I didn't do anything wrong." I told her she didn't do anything wrong, I just wanted to know who I was speaking with, which manager, because I know there can be different shift managers. She replied with "Well, I'm not gonna give you my name." and then she hung up on me. I was really surprised how fast she escalated and how rude she was. I expect better service than this from McDonald's, I do NOT recommend this...
Read moreI went through the drive thru, there was a note written in highlighter saying service may take longer than usual.. I waited 5 mins before backing up to go to other speaker. Placed my order, got to the window to pay for order, then waited another 5-7 minutes to get to the next window where the MANAGER messed up a hot fudge sundae, we were charged for an extra large drink we didn't order and the manager asks well do you want a refund?? Um yeah, we didn't order it... Then we get our food, leave, WITHOUT A REFUND, I start eating in the car.. the fries were old and cold. So I call McDonald's when I get home and I am told it will be replaced if I come back now from Waco to keenland.. I AM NOT DOING THAT, IT WAS THEIR MISTAKE. I also informed the manager that their printer in the back drive thru wasn't printing clearly and I was not able to give them the bad review they deserved for this visit and he hung up... So I call corporate to get an automated machine, then I call back McDonald's on Brandy lane and gave them the hell the deserved..YOU DO NOT HANG UP ON A CUSTOMER.. especially when THEY made the mistake. Every McDonald's in this town has went to hell. Wendy's can have my business, atleast they serve hot fries!! So disappointed in McDonald's and the type of people/CHILDREN they put in a...
Read moreAbsolutely the worst experience I've had. I'm not a drama queen by any means but there were 12-15 people that waited inside for their order ss we watched the cooks in back moving at a snails pace. One lady and I started a conversation about the lack of work ethic in most teens these days and how sad it was. Next thing we know, the teen working the cashier moves in and informs us he does not appreciate us speaking poorly of his generation. Yes, shock and awe came across our faces, then like 2 mother hens, we started to reprimand him for his action, then the energizer bunny also known as the assistant manager, came to the kids defense saying we shouldn't be insulting his employee. We weren't! We were simply discussing the lack of work ethic in general. We all start raising our voices and then the real manager stepped in and told both employees that she heard every word we said and we had in no way named this kid specifically and that we were right. To end this soap opera, I got my order 20 minutes later and there was an item missing. The assistant Mgr said that it had been removed per my request at the register. I showed him my receipt that proved I had paid for the item. Proof is in the pudding buy I've never had an employee verbally attack...
