Petersburg Pickers’ Bougie Goat Boutique — Local services in Richmond

I really did not have a great experience at this store or rather “boutique”. I had just met a friend for lunch in Carytown and decided to check this place out. When I walked in I was greeted by the owner who I could tell right away had an attitude of superiority (with not much to back it up with it seems). She asked me what I was looking for and I told her I was always interested in vintage Tom Ford era Saint Laurent as well as maybe a 2007 Balenciaga moto bag. She scoffed at me and said Saint Laurent?! don’t you know everyone wants the Gucci Bee as she pointed out the obviously fake Gucci bee earrings and necklace she was wearing and then pointed out more obviously fake Gucci items she was selling in her store. I thought but without saying, yeah maybe back in 2015 lol. I normally wouldn’t drop designer names like I did because honestly it’s kind of tacky but for some reason her attitude made me want to. Very nice store front very nice items high quality fashion . Being from Atlanta this is the kind of boutique shopping I like . BUT I feel a little uncomfortable spending my money here. My mom recently bought a really cute skirt that looks like an atlas really cute piece (although the seam came apart ) nonetheless she made a comment that this business belongs in a certain area of Richmond the owner says oh we would never leave Petersburg! To our surprise the business was moving a week later to Richmond. Well from one business owner to the next I would think you would want a customer to follow maybe it was our money she didn’t want or did I read to far into it . I suggested that dear friends, who have just moved to Old Towne Petersburg, visit Kimberly Ann's store. She actually met them and their dog, Ceasar, on one of our random walks through the neighborhood last Friday. Needless to say, Caesar fell in love with her. LOL. The very next day, Saturday, the lovely couple and Caesar visited the store. They called me very excited. They told me they had such a wonderful experience and found such lovely items that I had make sure to thank Kimberly Ann for not only treating my folks well, but also going above and beyond to assist them as they navigate being new homeowners and new residents of Petersburg.
