I generally don't write negative reviews, but if I don't say anything about this restaurant, I'd be doing a disservice to potential customers. I've been coming here multiple times because they have good dim sum. However, the dinner service is despicable. Not only do they offer favoritism by giving complementary snacks and desserts to Cantonese speaking customers only, they are also very rude.
This is what happened today. When we arrived at the restaurant, we saw every table received complementary peanuts. So, we asked a server: "can we get some peanuts as well?" He replied:" of course" and handed us some peanuts, and said (In verbatim, translated to English): "We don't give this to everyone, because people have peanut allergies. You know you can die from peanuts right? You know that right?"
Bianca H. Pittsburg, CA 81130 11/19/2022 4 photos I love it here! It's affordable and the food is really good! The service is great with quick servings, checking in if you need anything, and making sure you're satisfied! If you're in the area or looking for a great dim sum restaurant, this is the one to visit!

My favorite was the Chang fin with shrimp.
Glenn L.Elite 2022 Concord, CA 36816853 10/17/2022 Even though I forgot to take pictures, I had to leave a review. This place is pretty large and they still do the roving carts. We came in early Sunday at 10:15 and the place was about 1/3 full! Service is prompt (we actually got water and tea). Pricing is reasonable (less than the high-end Tri-Valley or Walnut Creek places). Dishes we had included har gao, pork siu mai, chicken feet, spare ribs, and more. This place can easily take large parties, but I expect the parking lot fills up before 11:30 or so.

Read moreI really enjoy this place for Dim Sum! This place does a few things that I really appreciate when I see them. 1) They treat elderly/customers very well...manager is always escorting/helping elderly customers in and out. I always see him chatting up customers and I think I may have heard him call people by name and greet them/walk them out. That builds good brand loyalty! 2) We get treated (well) just like everyone else! I often go places for dim sum and get 2nd class treatment for perhaps being latino (I really hope I am wrong/ignorant and that's not the reason) to the point of not being served, no one understands us, impatient attitude, and just not a friendly/welcoming all-around vibe. But not here. I asked for a certain drink (ginger ale) and the staff went to go find me one! Awesome! Unfortunately, they didn't have it...offered me a sprite as an alternative. Ok I can live with that. Staff came by every few minutes with different dim sum options and everyone was friendly, patient, and knowledgeable. When we wanted more water...we got it right away. Ice? No problem! And always smiling. We hadn't been here in about a year and my guest remembered a server from a year ago because she was always smiling and helping everyone.
Only reason I don't give SSH 5* is because they are heavy heavy on the MSG and every time I come here we get a massive headache later (which is kinda worth it because the food is good LOL). So drink lots of water when you...
Read moreNot busy for a weekday lunch. Dim Sum are fine. I'd say average for American Chinese standard which is in the usually larger size, not considered to be Chinese gourmet for I suppose.
Kind of unrelated to their service or food. I noticed they have warnings everywhere including at each table advising everyone not to leave any valuable things visible in his or her car. I already knew that as a long time resident in the area, but never could believe my first car window smashed experience would be in their parking lot during my 75 minute lunch. I didn't have anything visible that is of value, and they only had my small window smashed and be able to open my fold down rear seat back to check my trunk which has nothing much. It seems they never opened the door so nothing is stolen. The fact that the restaurant is in a now confirmed sketchy neighborhood would make me think twice about going again. It certainly makes it an...
