The worst Shirley's ever! I hate that this is the only one close to me. The Hispanic girl needs to be put out of her misery and fired for the way she treats the customers. He attitude is sickening and I find it offensive. I work at a hospital and if I treated my patients that way, I would have lost my job awhile ago. She looks at you as if you're wasting her time. I tried making a purchase with my debit card and she told me with the rudest tone ever that it's a 4 dollar limit. I understood that, but when I decided not to use my card and continued to look at the menu, she asked, "You want them or not?" Luckily I was not in the mood to be confrontational, so I told her, "Yes!" Then, I went today to get fresh donuts, and the black lady with an accent proceeded to lie to me and say that they NEVER have fresh donuts at 12. They only have them EARLY when they open up. I knew this to be a bold faced lie because I've happened to visit at a later time, so ib told her that. I said, "Well, I've come here at a little after 11 and never had an issue getting fresh donuts." She then changed her story and said, "Oh yes, well, that's because you can still get fresh donuts at that time, but not after that!" Lol...so convenient! I didn't even purchase. I'll make a 35 minute drive to Westheimer to purchase my donuts from now on. For the owner to allow this, it shows what time l type of person he/she is! Never...
Read more   Read morePity, just moved to Harvest Green. Decided to treat my daughter. First and LAST visit. She was going to cycle there and I decided to run her so I could pick up something from Ace. Firstly drive thru only. Guess kids cycling there is a no no. Secondly, I asked for Kolaches, if they'd run out I'd have understood, it's policy not to serve kolaches after 6pm, but you are open til 8pm!! I asked who made this policy and was told by a young Hispanic lad "Dave" so I asked what Dave last name was, he didn't know. What employee doesn't know their managers name!! This Einstein is going far, NOT. If he'd apologized and said I relay your thoughts, that'd had been some customer serve. This bozo simply does didn't give a "c#p". So we picked up some donut holes and Bavarian cream only, purely so my daughter wasn't disappointed. Thirdly we got home and it was hardly fresh. You don't expect hot as it's later in the day, but with a couple of hours till closing, their donuts tasted like it was two days old. Never been treated like this by any other Shipleys. Guess the owner needs Shape up there store or ship out. I'd urge my neighbors to go elsewhere. Krogers has a great bakery or bring in a Krispy Kreme, it wouldn't be any effort to out do this sad excuse for a donut shop. Got a really bad vibe from the place. Such a shame it's a nice few...
First, I will start by saying that the change to ordering before getting to the window is a failure. First, the staff must not know that they should ensure they turn off their mic because I could hear the talking about whatever after my order was completed. Second, I ordered two sausage, jalapeño and cheese kolaches and one order of donut holes. Sorry to say I did not check my order since I had never had issues before. I get home and I have an order or donut holes, two glazed donuts and a kolache. I was mad but decided to just let my daughter eat the kolache and her donut holes and I would just eat the glazed donuts. That changed when she bit into kolache only to find out it was ham and cheese. So back off to the store. I got there explained the order and one of the three ladies looked at me like I was crazy. I was given my kolaches and left.
Let me say that in my opinion, there was no time saved by ordering before the window because getting out food the first time took just as long. I never had an incorrect order from the window. Also, it should be standard to always put the detailed receipt in the bag or at least ask if we went it. I was very disappointed today. The order issue was frustrating but the attitude from that one employee makes me not want to return to...
