Omg what an amazing time I had last night at the "BLACK TECHNO MATTERS" event! The energy in that space was incredible, this was my first time at the jungle room and I'll definitely be back. I eat at Sabai often and believe creating this space was BRILLIANT. I did not feel like I was in Richmond, this felt like I was in another place. I need to add that I was totally comfortable in this space being completely SOBER. I had a ginger beer centered mocktail that was absolutely DELICIOUS! The bartenders were awesome and friendly. Can't wait to work with this space in the future!

Terrible. Overpriced drinks and food is mid at best. Owner is white and clearly appropriating a culture that isn’t theirs for the sake of profit. Management also operates in very slimy ways; have heard several stories of them not paying musicians & DJs. Several friends of mine have told me they’ve been treated disrespectfully by employees. Clearly this place is not queer or POC friendly at all. Just stay away. Go visit venues that value and support their community (The Camel, Fuzzy Cactus, FallOut, etc).

I actually really love coming here for my first time. The atmosphere was fun the drinks were good. I didn't try the food. But my complaint is when I woke up this morning somebody from the Jungle Room took $5 off my card after I have already paid and close out my tab. So I had to close out my card and reorder a new one. Yall stealing money now???? That's ridiculous. Other than that really great vibe. The music was okay just wish it was more words in a song. (Meaning alor of tekno) but I would never open a tab again not with them at least. As well when I went the place does not look like the pictures in these reviews. Would have done more stars but seems like my tab wasnt close like it should have been so 1 star, should be none. Very over...
