Another update: This is a $15 salad, just in case you were curious. /Disappointed Post pandemic update: Decided to try a club sandwich. I paid how much for this single slice of turkey? $11. I also have an unknown expense for the addition of cheese. I haven't seen the bill yet. So, I used to eat here 4 or 5 days a week. Miguel's service is what made it worthwhile. The food was ok, not amazing, but reliable. Every time we order something suffers from cross contamination like onions in the pancakes or tuna on the enchiladas. The salad bar was removed a while back. It wasn't huge but it was an improvement over the iceberg side salad. Today I got to see new menus. They included price increases of $1-2 per entree so I'm done... This food isn't worth what they're charging. Update: Today they let a big dog in. Not a service animal, just a big old dog. Wtaf?

Very clean, very friendly, and an overall great experience for a family owned diner, these guys rock and roll! My personal favorite as far as Mexican food goes in Ridgecrest. Plus I came in just for a couple of drinks and was immediately served/tended to by 3 different staff members with a warm and inviting smile on their faces! Chips were warm and the salsa was delicious along with my strawberry margarita.(Your server Caden(with a k?) deserves a raise he pays more attention to detail as far as servers go). Highly recommend for a family outing or just a couple; I came here by myself so if you're a loner, you're still encouraged to come here :). Happy Father's Day Sincerely, The Russian Cowboy

Came and had the cobb salad and was not disappointed. Service was friendly, and attentive. They met all my expectations. I returned a second time (I'm from out of town) and ordered the teriyaki chicken plate. I will give guys the update later. #yum

The first server was excellent, came out with water and nachos with salsa and took our orders, and was very pleasant. Appatiser came out, was good but massive and deepfried, way too much for 1 person, and greasy. When I asked the server if the shrimp were pan-fried or deep-fried, he seemed confused about the question and simply said fried. Unfortunately, they came out heavily battered and deep-fried. My steak was clearly cooked by a newly promoted dish washer as there was no consistency at all, i ordered a ribeye medium rare, it came out blue rare to well done, the fat was still white and not rendered at all. I was pretty hungry, so I ate it anyway. The mashed potatoes were clearly instant potatoes as they were dry and chalky, didn't expect fresh, but they missed the mark. Considering I modified my order and got extra stuff, I was only able to eat the steak, which was barely edible. The rest was a write-off. A second server came out to collect the payment and seemed confused who was due change or what they even ordered, assumed one member of our party was tipping 75% and we ended up waiting 10 minutes to get their change. I spent the rest of my night feeling ill from the greasiness and ultimately disappointed in my choice of dining facility coolectively our group of 7 was dissapointed. On our way out, we ran into a group of our colleagues attempting to go to the restaurant for dinner, and we recommended against it. For the most part, the servers were very pleasant and the atmosphere wasn't the worst place I've been just terrible food... the free nachos and salsa were pretty...

A beacon of hope and comfort in this terrible desert town, Lugo's is the best thing in Ridgecrest. I've been coming to Lugo's for years and it is always healing for my beaten, defeated soul. My wife and I went this morning for a late breakfast and I didn't want to leave. I could spend all day there eating, drinking and temporarily forgetting the town I live in. Miguel is probably the hardest working man I've ever met. Not to mention, the nicest. Ernesto must have face muscle aches every night, because his genuine smile never stops. I believe Miguel and Ernie were sent to us from heaven's heaven. The big man upstairs knew this dreadful town needed them. Thanks big guy. The corned beef hash and eggs made my stomach's heart do a 360 kickflip over the Grand Canyon. Perfect runny egg yolks brought the whole thing together with ultimate satisfaction. I can't stop thinking about it. I can never cook over-easy eggs with that precision. I almost asked if Ramsay was in the kitchen, but I know he would never come to this awful town that never should have been established. The fantastically crusty, seared layer of the corned beef hash... I'm gonna lose my mind. I'm seriously going to lose my freakin' mind over it. I'm happy to see them busy again. The place was packed. We were lucky to get a table. The staff deserve it. I hope for the best for those nice people. I'm so glad they didn't close down because of the spooky virus disease. I could go on and on, screaming to the sky, my love for Lugo's. Lugo's, y'all are killin' it and I can't...

I can honestly say Lugos is a great place to get a,big meal at a good price to fill you up. Pretty much always you're greeted and seated quickly. Not a moment to soon the server will come by and ask what you want to drink. Usually I get coffee regular or decaffeinated and it's pretty good/hot. They'll give you regular half and half creamers and vanilla flavored. It doesn't take long for the server to come back to take your food order either. I've usually done brunch and it's not to busy but some days it is. The wonderful thing is the food comes out fast and is delicious. I can't express in full how much I love the country burrito smothered in gravy and topped with chorizo. Don't be afraid to try the breakfast torta either! Both are very large and can be shared for two. Another wonderful thing is the servers are always on top of topping off your coffee ☕️ and making sure everything is OK. Overall if you're in Ridgecrest and looking for a delicious meal and friendly atmosphere swing by Lugos.

P.S. for the burger lovers the bacon cheeseburger is delicious. Also the margaritas will not disappoint you ;) They also have...
