I recently visited Chipotle, hoping for a satisfying meal, but unfortunately, my experience left much to be desired. The issues I encountered were numerous, ranging from undercooked rice to flies buzzing around, burned chicken, a dirty facility, a lack of teas and lemonades near the window, a lengthy wait time, and even a homeless man bathing in the spigot outside.
To begin with, the 45-minute wait in line was highly frustrating. It’s understandable for popular establishments to have a queue, but the excessive waiting time can dampen one’s enthusiasm. Efficient customer service and streamlined operations are essential to avoid prolonged wait times.
Furthermore, witnessing a homeless man taking a bath in the spigot outside the restaurant was both disconcerting and unsanitary. It created an uncomfortable atmosphere for patrons and raised questions about the establishment’s security measures and cleanliness standards.
In addition to the wait and the disturbing scene outside, the quality of the food itself was disappointing. The undercooked rice lacked the desired texture and flavor, which greatly affected the overall enjoyment of the meal. Combined with the presence of flies, it left me questioning the restaurant’s attention to food safety and hygiene practices.
The burned chicken further added to the letdown. The overcooked and charred flavor dominated the dish, detracting from the other ingredients and making it unappetizing. It’s crucial for any eatery, especially a renowned one like Chipotle, to maintain consistency in the quality of their food.
Regrettably, the cleanliness of the facility fell short of expectations as well. Dirty tables and unattended messes created an uninviting environment that reflected poorly on the establishment’s overall hygiene standards. A clean and well-maintained space is vital for customers to feel comfortable and confident in their dining experience.
Lastly, all the teas and lemonades near the window we out, and not being refilled even though they were made sitting in the containers behind the counter. The staff were all joking around and not attending to these things until multiple customers complained and they finally brought out some refills. I understand having a good time at work, but that shouldn’t interfere with your ability to do your job.
In summary, my visit to Chipotle was marred by numerous issues, including undercooked rice, flies, burned chicken, a dirty facility, a lack of beverage options near the window, an excessively long wait time, and an uncomfortable encounter outside the restaurant. I sincerely hope that Chipotle takes these concerns seriously and addresses them promptly to ensure a more enjoyable and satisfactory experience for their customers...
Read moreOrdered through their phone automated system. It was very easy to order. Went to pick up my order and the moment I walked through the door I was welcomed by the staff and asked how could they help. All the staff members were smiling and the atmosphere was welcoming. (For a minute I thought I was at Chick-Fil-A because of the great vibes) They didn't recognize my order initially because it did not come through the app. But one of the ladies instantly told me she was going to notify the manager. The manager (Patrick) came out quickly and he was very nice, eager to understand and remedy the situation. While talking to him, his staff members came up and confirmed my name and told me she had my order. They were apologetic for the delay/mix up (but is was not a big delay at all). It was smiles all around and it didn't take a long time. I like that even though the manager was talking to me, the staff didn't ignore my order they were engaged in finding it. (not again, it didn't take long). It was hot and it tasted very good. The manager and his team at Ridgeland were excellent.
The location was clean, The staff was energetic, helpful & welcoming The food was great quality and just as I ordered. The phone automated system was easy to use also. I didn't need to use the app I only needed to now the menu. (Tip: If you use the phone automation system, look up the menu and know what you want to order. The AI system is clear and easy to understand, but it is helpful to know what you want to order prior to calling).
Based on the service and quality of food received today, Chipotle Ridgeland is recommended. We encourage our military family to support this location. Please be kind to the staff and tell them Combat Boots 2 Red Bottoms...
Read moreYou may try this place out but you’ll never want to go back! The two most vital employees at this location were THE absolute worst people in that building guaranteed. I’ve worked as a cook in fast food and a cook in restaurants so I understand that being urgent and respectful is GREATLY appreciated. I’ve been to three other chipotle locations in separate states (Texas and Louisiana) and this one ranks dead last, I wouldn’t be surprised if it’s already earned its spot in as the worst location in the nation. The preparer gave out bare minimum portions and normally i order double scoops of everthing (I powerlift) and she seemed to slow down and get agitated when i asked for extra portions. Once she got to the meat i asked for extra chicken and she responded back extremely rude and abruptly “you know you gone have to pay for this right”…OF COURSE im came to this business to pay for a good product and service! After this happened my fiance made it to the register before i did and she always gets a side of vinaigrette and sour cream, she asked the female at the counter and she stated out loud “over with” where did they find these people??? She then reluctantly gave my fiance the side of vinaigrette. I get to checkout and i also ask and she tells me “Ain’t no more” seriously?? They should have these things prepared and if you dont have any then prepare one on demand. Im pretty sure a cook wouldn’t mind doing thier job that they’re getting paid to do. To sum this up those to need to be removed and this location needs proper evaluation of potential employees before they throw anyone in there. I hope the location coming in Madison has better service than this one, will not...
