Yaki Bowl — Restaurant in Jackson

The staff were very nice and accommodating when I said we hadn't been here before. They explained everything and made sure we were comfortable with the process.

My wife, daughter, and I all got the Mongolian grill where you fill a bowl with meat and veggies, pick sauce and spice, and they stir fry it for you and serve it over your choice of rice or noodles.

Since I'm doing the low carb thing I was a little dubious, but they said I didn't have to get rice or noodles. There were plenty of no carb options among the veggies and of course the meat is not a problem. I did mixed spices, garlic oil, and Chile oil for my flavorings and it came out delicious!

We all enjoyed our food and left full and happy!

They even said that I could bring a low-carb sauce from home if I wanted and they could use it for the stir fry!

Now this is my favorite place to come every time I visit Jackson I come here every time even leaving out to go back home I pick up to go for my son and I! Now when u first come in they ask for u if u are dining in or taking out, I’ve done Both and can say u get the same service and amount of food. U have the option to build your own bowl or to choose from the menu and all the options I’ve tried are great but I love to build my bowl! I can stack it high with all the veggies and protein I want and if u are like me and have any allergies u just write them on your lil paper and they make sure they don’t cross contaminate your food!!! I love the food and the fact u can choose what u do and don’t want in your bowl rice or noodles seasoning and sauces everything is clean and the service is great! Food is really tasty, so I was excited about this new restaurant but both my experiences have been very off putting. When I came last Sunday, one of the staff members started taking over my bowl. So I couldn’t put my desired amount of seasoning & sauces and they added sauces i didn’t ask for. For to-go orders, you pay before you make your bowl. Today I left a tip on the receipt as well. After I fixed my bowl, one of the cooks asked me if I had left a tip yet. I couldn’t understand him because of his accent so he insultingly asked me “what? You don’t speak English?” I could have directed the same insult to him but that would have been inappropriate, as was him questioning me about a tip that I already gave.
