We recently dined at Renato’s, and it was an unforgettable experience! The atmosphere was warm and inviting, creating a delightful setting for our lunch. We ordered by the slice, and it was spectacular. The crust was perfectly baked—crispy outside and soft inside. The fresh toppings and flavorful sauce made each bite heavenly. The service was excellent; our server was friendly and knowledgeable, enhancing our experience. We highly recommend Renato’s for anyone seeking amazing pizza. It’s a must-visit for pizza lovers, and we can’t wait to return!

Classic pizza joint with pizza by the slice and takeout. Unique is the glass sunroom with tables. Popular location for local kids, busy takeout and local dine in which requires some adjustments from counter staff to bring plates and silverware but that's to be expected. Grandma pizza come out hot and crisp, much better dining in than takeout. Sauce is more salty than sweet but works well. Parking in the back is limited and tight.

Classic local pizza shop with slices and some Italian basics. Nice people, but the service was pretty messy: they took our order at the counter, left us standing, didn't say they'd bring the food to our table, never gave us a check.

I can echo reviewers regarding the sometimes bad service, and anger when using a credit card. Both are realities at this Pizzeria.

But they have some of the best Italian food in Bergen county, in my opinion. The eggplant parm is the thinnest, most delicious I’ve had. Their Cesar salads italian finger kiss, even their simple house salad is outstanding. The pizza is good. The Parmigana-anything’s are delicious, and their sandwiches are also so great. They make every appetizer so good, from calamari, to wings, to mozzarella sticks. And their marinara sauce...it’s outstanding.

Listen...who cares if they’re a little quirky? You want good food, right? That’s what...

Service needs major improving here at Renato’s Pizza. I ordered 3 slices from the glass showcase which had toppings and the man in the front fills up the boxes with the 3 slices I ordered plus 3 plain slices that I didn’t order and tells me I owe $21. I told him that I only ordered the 3 slices with toppings and that I didn’t even know he had plain slices since they weren’t displayed. I guess they keep plain slices tucked away in the back. He grunts very loudly and says “YOU SAID 3 PLAIN, COME ON AMIGO! NO YOU SAID 3 plain!”…. at this point I was completely baffled at the bad customer service. Definitely not a way to speak to...

The atmosphere was decent and the staff were polite. However, NOT ONE of the kitchen staff was wearing gloves. When I ordered 4 slices of pepperoni pizza, they took a day-old cheese pie (with their bare hands), put uncooked pepperoni on it (with their bare hands), put it in the oven, and when it was done they put it in the box WITH THEIR BARE HANDS. The pizza itself was way too greasy, didn’t even taste that good, upset my stomach within 10 minutes of eating, and even an hour after finishing I can still taste it in the worst way. Worst $25...
