I never disrespected anyone. I simply ask for clarification regarding the difference in price. You should have reviewed the camera footage before responding in such an unprofessional manner. Now, seeing the "owner's" response, I can understand the attitude of the "manager." I have traveled all over the world as my reviews show and always leave 5 star reviews. One thing the owner and I can agree on is that I will NEVER be going back to that place!!
Went to this place for two days in a row. The first day, I went twice as the service was excellent (a young lady and later a young man), and the acai bowls were very good. Bought a small bowl the 1st time for a bit over $6. The 2nd time ordered a large one with the same ingredients for a bit over $9. Both are worth it. On the 2nd day, I ordered the small bowl with the same ingredients and was charged $9.25. I asked about the disparity in prices, and the attendant seemed upset about my asking. The explanation was that the small and large prices were the same price due to ingredients. Just don't make any sense. She asked if I wanted to talk to her boss and I decided to leave. I felt so unsatisfied that I took a few steps and came back. I asked to speak to the manager, and to my surprise, she said, "I'm the manager," with arrogance and a challenging attitude. At that moment, I knew I was just wasting my time and talking with such an arrogant person. One of the attendants from the day before was present and didn't say a word, my guess out of fear. The manager with the horrible attitude name is Natalia. Be prepared to be charged whatever she wants to when she is the server. I will drive further to another location just to avoid dealing with that type of person. One person can really ruin an experience...
Read moreMe, my mother and my children were on the search for some good ice cream after dinner. After searching online for local places I noticed we still had time to stop here for some dessert. We arrived at 8:50. The store hours online say 10am-9pm and the doors were unlocked so it was obvious they were still open. We walked in and were greeted and helped by a sweet young man. He took our order, we paid and sat by the kids table to have our ice cream. Within minutes a young teen girl came into the dining area and aggressively started moving chairs and stacking them on top of one another. It was loud and obvious that she was annoyed we were sitting down. She RUDELY told us that we needed to sit outside because they were closed. When I say rudely, I mean RUDE. I get it, you want to go home, but there are MANY ways to ask someone to leave. We sat outside after being kicked out by her and she instantly locked the door and shut some of the lights and I watched as she barked orders at the young men sweeping and she just stood by the register. I highly doubt she’s the owner because anyone who cares about their business would never act like this towards their customers. Read moreI’ve been coming here 1–2 times a week for years, but I’m really disappointed by the recent changes. Not only have the prices gone up, but the açaí bowls have gotten noticeably smaller. I gave it three tries before leaving this review to make sure it wasn’t just a one-off, but each time, I received the same bowl I’ve always ordered—with about half the amount of açaí and a higher price tag. I understand occasional price increases, but shrinking the portions at the same time feels like a letdown. This place used to be one of my favorites.
