Sunset Gyros — Restaurant in Rincón

Let’s start with the gyros—phenomenal. We’re talking steak, lamb, and chicken all on the menu, which is basically unheard of around here (most joints stop at chicken and call it a day). The steak? Whisper-thin, melt-in-your-mouth magic. I was dangerously close to ordering a second one just for the experience.

The pita? So fresh it probably had a birth certificate. I wouldn’t be surprised if they make each one to order—it’s that warm, fluffy, and perfectly chewy.

My girlfriend got the lamb, and I had major food envy. Just as flavorful, juicy, and balanced—these folks know what they’re doing.

And shoutout to the owner, who’s clearly passionate about his food and his customers. He checked in with a genuine smile and made sure we had everything we needed. Sweet guy, serious gyro wizard.

My husband and I got a chance to try Sunset Gyros and we were very impressed. We tried a steak gyro and a chicken gyro both with fries. Their French fries were cooked perfectly and they had a nice season on them. The steak gyro was excellent!! Tender meat and a delicious sauce with a nice fluffy wrap. The chicken was also delicious. My family and I had a great time dining at this small food trailer. I’ve had gyros at some of the best places in Ohio and New York, but this little place beat them all. I had the lamb and steak gyro with sweet potato fries and my wife and daughter had the lamb gyro with French fries and it was all great.
