We came for brunch on September 21st. We were a party of 5 and they tried to seat us at a small rectangular table. The table could really only seat 3 adults and one child at the most, but the hostes seemed to disagree and felt it would be fine for 5. I asked her about combining two tables or moving us to a larger table. She didn't seem to want to do either, so I asked her to speak with a manager. We eventually got seated at a larger table. Shortly after we ordered our food, 3 adults and one child were seated at that table they tried get us to use. After about 15 minutes they got their food. About 10 minutes after that, we got our food! WHY?!?! We should of got our food way before them! I had some pancakes and they were COLD! Because it took nearly 30 minutes to get our food, they probably made mine first and put it in the refrigerator. Yes, it was cold, not just room temperature. The other foods were warm. The food is expensive too. Some gross observations, I saw one of the waitresses wipe both of her hands on the seat of her pants, not sides, her butt and then grabbed a glass cup and filled it with some softdrink and gave it to a customer. I saw a large ice bucket newly filled and set on the floor by the bar. It sat there uncovered for about 15 minutes and with so many people walking by it, who know what debris fell into the bucket and eventually served in a drink to a customer. One man was cleaning a table in the middle of the dining area and then threw a dirty towel over the food staging area and it landed in the trash can. There was most likely food particles and debris that probably landed on fresh food about to be served. There was a man working at the bar that must of had a runny snotty nose and he wiped his nose with his index finger and thumb and then grabbed a glass, filled it up with soda and then gave it to a customer. Several minutes later, he wipped off his sweaty face and snotty nose with both hands and then grabbed several clean glasses and placed them in the clean glass staging tray. What other gross things goes on but nobody sees or...
Read moreWe came back again and had another great experience. Dylan was absolutely amazing. The food was fantastic as always. I had the Protein Skillet with brisket, so amazing. My daughter wishes there was one near her in Utah for the Churro French Toast. I didn't get pictures but our friends had the Cubano, and the Chicken sandwiches. I got to try a bite of the chicken, so tender and juicy. I was told the Cubano was amazing. I think our friends will be back again.
Tried to come several times before and couldn't find parking or called and it was an hour wait. This morning we were out early, and it wasn't so busy, so decided to give it a try. We were welcomed, and able to be seated right away. We liked the bright industrial atmosphere. There were two bar areas, lots of TV's, but we chose a booth. Our waitress, Michelle, was so friendly and helpful. She greeted us immediately, explained a little bit about the menu, and some favorite dishes, then brought our drinks, while we decided on food. I settled for the breakfasts sandwich and my husband the breakfast burrito. Food tasted fantastic, fresh and hot. I had wanted something smaller, but it was a good sized sandwich, and, with the smashed potatoes, I couldn't quite finish it all. My husband's burrito was huge. It contained huge chunks of tasty sausage. We were both really happy with our choices. You get a lot of food for your money. We could have easily shared the burrito. Michelle was fantastic and checked on us often. I think this will have to be my new favorite breakfast spot. It's nice to have another more upscale place in town, but I like the more relaxed atmosphere here. I can't wait to try more of their offerings.
You can pay the bill by phone, which we chose to do. There is no fee for paying by CC here. They do give a 10% Military...
Read moreJuly 23 was our second time at this restaurant. Our first visit ( in June) was nothing special. My spouse and I did not like what we ordered. I also felt like I was sitting in a “corral” full of cows. Awfully cramped and noisy. So we wanted to give this place another assessment. We like to support local businesses. The 2 hostesses were friendly and seated us quickly at a table outside the “corral.”Hostesses get a 5 star rating. My husband & I reviewed the menu and realized not many combo dishes are offered. You would have to pay extra if you added bacon or eggs to a pancake or waffle. My plate would have cost $22.00. (?) But we did not order that because we sat at our table with menus closed and waited for a server to acknowledge us. Not one server came by and said…I’ll be back in a couple of minutes to take your drink orders. Instead 2 servers were chatting by the drink counter, one on her phone near food pick up area and others at tables talking to customers. We can hear two of them talking about their families and plans for the weekend. I felt they were at the customer’s table too long. We waited exactly 15 minutes and not one server came to us. So we got up and left. As we’re walking out the door, I informed the hostesses we received NO service and we will not be back. I would give NO stars but decided to give one star for the...
