We’ve been longtime fans of Rise n’ Grind, the cozy coffee shop next door, so we were thrilled to try out the new addition, Garden Girl—and let me tell you, it did not disappoint! From the moment we walked in, the staff made us feel so welcome, even amidst the buzz and excitement of launching a brand-new business.
The food was absolutely incredible. The Açaí bowl was bursting with freshness, and the sandwich—piled high with tender roast beef—was hearty and satisfying. Every bite felt like it was made with care and quality ingredients.
As if lunch wasn’t delightful enough, we continued our outing by grabbing an iced tea from Rise n’ Grind and exploring the second floor. The upstairs area is a treasure trove of local shops, each offering unique finds that perfectly round out the experience.
Garden Girl has quickly earned a spot on our list of regular go-to places. If you haven’t checked it out yet, you’re truly missing out on a gem in the heart of Rising Sun. Stop by and see for yourself—you...

I can't wait to go back and try their salads, they looked very fresh and sounded tasty. We love local small businesses and are happy to support such...

So, while the sandwich can be served cold, you have the option to get it warmed, which makes a big difference. Overall, it was fresh, flavorful, and exactly the kind of place this area needs. My only minor concern is that it felt a little pricey, but given the quality, it wasn’t unreasonable especially given the costs of...
