Ok this place is a pizza place first and foremost. If they only served pizza this is a 4 star establishment although the pizza would be a 5. Staff alone after our last experience is a 3. Food other than pizza? Don’t eat it. Lasagna tastes like chef boyardee ravioli who has my back? The chicken fettuccine Alfredo had no flavor and the chicken was the absolute worst! Hard small pieces of chicken obviously cooked and refrigerated and reheated to dry it out as much as possible and make the chicken so hard it could be dangerous to your gums. Now their website says order online (which I did) and save 5 percent. After not getting our salads that come with our meals we called back to get salads and it seemed an issue to the staff being told our meals didn’t come with salads. Well they did and even though when in the store it clearly states what ordered came with salads they act like they are doing us a favor by giving us our salads we paid for “for free” lmao. Then we are informed that if you order online it cost MORE!!!! They are misleading consumers through their website which clearly states save 5%if you order online. We have been duped. I would give them a shot for pizza. Be cautious of...
Read moreAfter reading all of the great reviews, I decided to ignore the one that said the chicken parm was like a chicken nugget. Should have listened.
I decided to try out this place for a new spot to get Italian. The salad was GREAT! I couldn't get enough. Wife didn't like it, however, so I ate hers as well. The server was VERY friendly, and it seemed like it was perhaps family run. That was nice.
Chicken parm comes out looking good, but the pasta is looking kinda plain. The sauce is a bit thin. Cut into the chicken hoping it is not a giant chicken nugget, and I regret to say it was. It tasted like a TV dinner chicken parm. My wife liked her eggplant parm. I think perhaps this is harder to fake, and it seemed maybe actually made in house. The chicken parm was $16! I literally felt ashamed for paying that for such a mediocre product. Could have paid $3 more for a hand-breaded one at Campisi's!
I was hoping for so much more based on the reviews (except the one about the chicken parm was absolutely right). Maybe don't order that and try...
Read moreThis is our second time dining at Italiano’s Restaurant. We were impressed the first time and decided to try it again. My wife had the lasagna and I had the baked ziti with meat sauce. We each sampled a bit from each other’s plate and enjoyed our entrees very much. The food is obviously home made. The sauce, meats and pastas were cooked to perfection. The portions are big and the prices are decent. We look foreword to trying their pizzas.
The staff are very friendly. The owner is a big teddy bear and had a great heart. When a few senior ladies came to eat there, he welcomed them with a hug. Obviously these ladies have eaten there a few times and know him. He’s a very sweet man. He opens doors for them and he even walked over to where one lady was in a suv and helped her with her walker. He walked beside her marking sure she made it ok inside the restaurant. These ladies appreciate him very.
We love the food, customer service, the friendliness and being treated like a real person. It’s...
