The Office Bar & Night Club — Restaurant in River View Township

It is dirty, old, very outdated and has no design. It's a hole in the wall bar. It's sad that the only bar that is currently operating in the area isn't taking advantage of the power they have, basically a monopoly. They could be stepping up knowing the advantages they have. The greetings and friendly gestures are nearly impossible to find here. I've had multiple whisky drinks with tiny bugs in them and the pool tables are not clean or maintained. If I'm being honest, I think it's a dump. Mostly regulars. I will say something positive though... when they do have a band it is pretty good, but they seem to repeat the same songs every week. At this rate, when the Tavern reopens, this place won't make it. Seems to be holding on only because the owners use it as their personal party place. Beware of backdoor enterence which allows lurking alley people to slither in and out unchecked and undetected. This is definitely a great place if your wanting to have a good time!! The owner is absolutely wonderful and seems to genuinely care about his community and will go above and beyond to turn a good night into a great night!! I know this because my baby just turned 21 on the 4th, and we had his surprise party there on 9th and he gave us our own space right by the bar and dance floor, let us come in early and decorate and made sure that his staff was taking care of us and my son!! I mean he seriously gave my son the run of the bar the entire night, it was freaking awesome!! Even at the end of the night when fights began to break out “like they tend to do” everyone on staff where on it and had it covered!! I've been to this location 3 times. Each time a different experience. The first loud and crowded which is a good sign for a bar. Took forever to get a drink but it happens at a bar. The second time wasn't as busy and the bartender was drunk or high. The third time I figured I'd give it another try and being that it has grill in the name I stopped by for some food. Only to find out that it's just a bar. Smelled like stale cigarettes and spilled drinks. I think they need to revamp the establishment, change the name by losing the grill portion or actually serve food.
