Today I went to the Madison location, the cashier was not able to understand what was ordered due to language barrier ( they spoke spanish) and how loud it was inside. I was using a coupon, she rang up the wrong food so the coupon wouldn't work. When she asked her manager to help, the manager wouldn't even take to time to review the order, just said "The coupon will be available to use tomorrow" she said I opened the app up before the register causing the coupon to not work... What??? Had she looked at what was punched into the screen and matched it to my coupon she would had noticed the problem. This was very ignorant of the manager, we noticed the food was wrong when receiving it, and the manager was still arguing the point that we ordered that! I think I know what food I wanted. We at the food because I was done arguing with the manager and I had to get back to work. However, neither of us were happy with it. El pollo loco is overpriced for what you get even if it is healthier for you. Read moreI normally have no issues with this location. Yet, lately they have been dropping the ball. I always order my drinks with no ice and I always make sure to tell the employee this. I even repeat it whenever I can, to ensure accuracy. The last three or four times that I have been here, they seem to just not hear what I say or ignore it. If you give me ice, I will send it back. Feedback for accuracy is basic customer service. Really easy to do.
The next thing happened today. I ordered the taco carbon combo. Usually I get the tacos individually wrapped in foil. This time I got the same container they use for their taquitos. Which is fine, don't care about that. What I do care about is that the tacos were thrown in haphazardly without a care in the world. Just a mess in the container. And they cashiers don’t give you what you ask for even when telling them you don’t mind paying extra and want to have attitudes when you check in the bag and what you asked for isn’t there. I always as for extra creamy cilantro dressing saying I’m willing to pay for extra in needed and they don’t give it put the big ones in the bag. If I’m ordering a tostada salad bowl I should at least receive 1 big one but they only give me the little one and no extra same with the avacado salsa I asked for 4 of them knowing I’m going to use all 4 and still only receive 1 salsa.
