Ho Ho Chinese Food — Restaurant in Riverside

It has been a very long time since I've been here (due to moving out of the area) but was in the area and looking for dinner and remembered this place. I don't know if it is even owned by the same people, but figured it was still there so who not. I was pleasantly surprised by the choices they have because it wasn't all the same. I got orange chicken, which was typical and pretty good, bbq pork which was good, although a little fatty, and spicy fish, which was really good. You don't normally see fish on a menu other than shrimp. They also have coconut shrimp for a dollar extra and it looked good. Maybe I'll try it next time. I got some egg rolls too which were typical as well. They have Thai tea which I didn't get but maybe next time. The noodles were ok but a little bland but the fried rice was good. I spent like $15 for a 3 item and 2 egg rolls which isn't too bad. I got a lot of food and had plenty of leftovers. I will go back next time I'm in the area and want...

My husband and I ordered our food from this restaurant through door dash. Our food was cold, my teriyaki chicken had no sauce, and we weren’t given chow mein, and for the cherry on top, we found hair in the rice! DoorDash gave us a refund. We called the restaurant to tell them to check the rice because our food had hair. We also complained about the other instances and instead of an apology, the manager says “Next time, come in to order the food and it be hot” Me: “so you’re telling me that if we come in and order ourselves, that there will be no hair in our food? Us ordering delivery is what put the hair there???” Manager: “yes, yes, come in next time” I am so glad I wasn’t there in person for this conversation....... and my husband??? This is the best Chinese food spot you can find in the area in terms of fast food. The portions are absolutely nuts and the food is damn good for what you pay. This place also offers Thai tea with or without boba which is nice. Also they offer other kinds of smoothies. I have read that the attendance can come off rude but I think it's just a language barrier as each time I've ever come in I've been treated very well and respectfully. It's also worth noting that the main older lady who serves the food speaks a bit of Spanish which I learned today which is awesome! I dare not go to any other spot as this place has always taken care of me.
