Veg & Go Plant Based Fast Food — Restaurant in Riverside

You have no idea how thrilled we were to find and try this place. Twice now we’ve ordered here and both times it has been absolutely delicious! We ordered takeout and drove from Ontario and even through the drive the burgers remained soooo good.

The first time we ordered fries as well. This was the only thing we didn’t care for as they were extremely greasy and even more noticeable when they were cold. They were almost inedible, greasy, and soggy once we got home and reheated.

We ordered one of the chicken burgers, the Wild West burger, wings, and cheese sticks and I’ve never in my time of eating plant based have had anything that was so flavorful. Usually when you try a plant based burger either it has no flavor or seasoning and is bland. There was nothing about it these items listed above that was bland.

Pricing is a little expensive but right in line with most burger places of similar offerings, so no real surprise there. The customer service is great as well since each time we’ve went to be greeted by this happy and peppy guy who is really helpful. Next time we’ll try the hot dogs. While we will skip on the fries, this place has easily became out go-to for burgers/fast food and is worth the drive. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

Edit (Apr 2023): we’ve visited this place a few times now and are still so very happy that it’s around. I’m very happy to support this business. We did, in fact, try the hotdogs (the ‘bacon’ wrapped one) and while this was tasty it was smaller than expected for $8 (it’s about the size of a regular hotdog bun for reference). Also, their Instagram has some off-the-menu items that look delicious. It seems it is different things going in rotation, but worth a look!

Yo if you want a fire Meal thats actually filling and doesn't make you fill guilty or sluggish after you finish Hit up The Main Alien (Brandon) at Veg & Go they hook it up no Cap! A family owned business that Love what they do and genuinely care I got the Peace Burger meal with "animal style" U.F.O fries fresh cut jalapeño slices on the side and a delicious Pineapple cream soda that taste Great! My vegan burger was Bomb I literally couldn't even tell it was vegan meat each bite was so easy to chew it melted in my mouth the fries were ALL Crispy just the way I like it vegan cheese was evenly melted and the secret sauce was evenly applied where I had some with each bite of fries well Done! My fiancé got the Wild West burger and she was shocked how good it was so good she rarely finishes her burgers anywhere we go and she had no problem finishing her burger with no shame and still had a couple of my U.F.O fries that she was speechless over how good the were she just kept saying hmmmm and shes a former 5star chef so that says alot. Let me start by saying I admire that vegan restaurants are becoming more popular and love the star wars upbeat vibe of this place along with friendly staff however !!!! I arrived at 11am when they open and no one showed up till around 11:30 and the cashier was even later and that should of have been a red flag I payed attention to but I ignored it , The cook came and kindly greeted me and then asked for my order . He was the only person cooking and it appeared he had backed up online orders to cook in addition to mine .So he must of rushed making my food .I ordered the hotdog with cheese onions /ketchup/mustard /mayo , it took about 30 minutes till ready (no line ) and when I bit it I really liked it but I noticed the dog wasn’t cooked all the way (I’ve been vegan a few years now and in most beyond meat there are white small cubes about the size of a pin point usually coconut oil that are visible before it’s cooked and are completely melted down after being cooked to the right temp ) but I had already had my bites and I payed 8 dollars for this hotdog so I didn’t want to waste it completely. The cashier was kind and gave me two free muffins for the wait time , as I was about to leave I ate a few bites of the muffin and immediately began feeling sick less than 5 hours later I was throwing up all while being at work .
