Arctic Circle — Restaurant in Riverton

I don’t know what happened to this place over the past 6 months. We used to love going here for shakes but the past couple times we’ve gone here we’ve had terrible service and our orders have been messed up. Last time we went my wife ordered a shake with chocolate ice cream, cookie dough, and Oreo. Simple enough, right? What she got a vanilla ice cream Oreo shake. Then tonight we waited in the drive-thru for 20 minutes for a small and medium shake, all while watching three cars behind us get their multiple shakes and drive away! When I went in to ask what was taking so long with my two shakes the answer I got was “well we’re just behind on shakes” with a shoulder shrug. Behind on shakes?!? When I watched three shake orders AFTER me go out?? I don’t understand how that’s possible. I don’t think we’ll be going back...

I must admit that I have been a devoted follower of AC since my youth. That's about fifty odd years ago. Then you could get an Acey burger, fries with Official Utah fry sauce, and a drink for about two bits. (That's $0.25 for the younger generation). We'd load up at AC and then drag State Street. Things have changed now, but you can still buy a good burger and fries and a drink for a reasonable price. Their menu has expanded to include fish and fries, another favorite of mine. They now have a dining room and a play area that the kids seem to love given the raucous noise coming out of there. Rest Rooms are clean. I can barely drive past without getting the urge to pull in...

Ok... Can't say anything bad about this place... It is what it is... The cheapest place to get a meal for my family of nine. My kids (and I) love the tater tots... So crispy and good. and I think they have the best fry's for a cheap fast food burger place. They have the best value meal selection and the most affordable I've cream anywhere... and free compensation funny I've cream cones? My little kids don't need more than that anyway... If you get them more half of it melts 😜. I do love their lime rickey. My kids always get the flavor burst I've cream cones and I like the cookie dough shake... All then for extra cookie dough and there is more cookie dough than ice cream......
