I was having a super stressful morning, and had a gift card so I wanted to get some coffee. I was on the phone with my mom and asked her if she wanted one. I was ordering 2 coffees to go, and I guess did not have enough on my gift card to cover the rest of my transaction. I didn’t realize till that moment, that I had also left my debit card at home. I asked if they took Apple Pay, and unfortunately they did not. My mom was offering to give her card info over the phone to pay the dollar and change still due, but they were unable to do that, too. Which is okay, no biggie, but I felt bad because they had already made the coffees. Brooklyn- one of the baristas there offered to cover the rest of my transaction. She wasn’t even the one at the drive through window. It could have had a different outcome, and with the overly stressful morning I was already having, her kindness this morning went a long way. Read moreI am done getting coffee here! I come one to two times daily, and also always tip $1 every single time no matter how small the order. They never ask if you want your receipt and I need it for the app to get points since their scanner is always having issues. I missed out on TWO receipts for rewards today! I often bring my own cup for them to fill so I get the discount, but tonight was the last straw when I was told (very rudely I might add) that they don't do that at their location. What?!?! I ALWAYS do this and even at the same location. My guess is they already had my drink made and didn't want to pour it into my cup or make it again (it was sitting next to the window by the register). Last time I went ai ordered chai tea with soy I paid and waited about 5 min they came back and let me know they do not have any dairy free chai mix offered normal dairy chai I explained I cannot have dairy she just stared at me and said that all they have. I asked if I could then change my drink she agreed then said she needs to check the price difference there was not one but I thought I was terrible customer service to have me pay more because they didn’t have the product I wanted after I already paid.
