I have never had any problem with the food. It's Einstein Bros Bagels, everything is delicious.
Problems:
Time to get order. The time from ordering to getting your food is wild. I don't know what going on inside, but if there is more than one car in the drive-thru, I will never go here. Like we're talking 20 minutes or more sometimes.
When you pull up to the drive-thru order box, the person taking the order will not let you know if they know you're there or not.
So you pull up and it's just silence. Sometimes for 5 minutes or longer. It's fine if they're dealing with a different order, but the need to let you know that they are aware that you exist and will get to you soon.
The drive-thru order speaker and microphone is terrible. It's truly extremely difficult to understand the person speaking even if they're speaking clearly and loudly.
I think they have a hard time hearing what people ordering say as well, so this is just one more level of inefficiency.
Overall almost every time I drive to this area I'll get Panda Express instead, not because I like Panda Express more, but because this specific location is so terrible that it's not worth the extra pain of going to Einstein's instead.
Different locations are not like this, it's just this location. Is the worst Einstein's location I've ever seen.
All that said, when you finally do get your food, they do seem to make it just fine so they got that going for them.
If I really want Einstein's and I need to go to this location, the only option to not waiting a ridiculous amount of time is ordering online first. Which is...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI have been going to the Riverton, Utah location weekly for the last 8 years. I order the same thing every time: bacon and cheddar sandwich (one egg) with honey almond schmear on the side. My husband usually asks for the churrizo sunrise burrito. We ordered through the drive through, realized the bagel was plain on mine and his was a lot smaller than normal with barely anything in it besides skimped bacon and eggs. There was barely any schmear or hash browns.
My husband took it back in and came back out with a bagel that was now Asiago cheese (not French toast) and the same burrito and was told thatās how they always make the burrito which isnāt true. I then had to go inside hoping to get the correct bagel and a remade burrito. The red head employee was extremely rude, rolled her eyes when I explained thatās not how they usually make the burrito. No explanation was given about why the bagel was still wrong. Instead of remaking it the way we had hoped, she said they wouldnāt remake it.
Sergio (who claimed to be the gm working)did nothing to make the situation any better. Iām still shocked that he was okay with how his employee spoke to their customers. At that point I asked for a refund bc the food and service was horrible. I am extremely disappointed as I write this hungry and knowing I will never go back to that location simply due to the poor customer service experience. Food can be improved, the staffs customer service needs a...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreAn Average Experience at Einstein Bros. Bagels
My recent visit to Einstein Bros. Bagels was a bit of a mixed bag, offering both enjoyable moments and some drawbacks. The selection of bagels and spreads is impressive, with a variety of flavors that cater to different tastes. I was particularly excited to try their everything bagel with schmear, and I must say it was delicious and freshly made. The bagels had the right balance of chewiness and flavor, which is a big plus for any bagel shop.
However, my experience was marred by the service. While the staff was friendly, the wait time was longer than I anticipated, especially during the morning rush. It seemed that there werenāt enough employees on duty to handle the number of customers, leading to a backup at both the counter and the drive-thru. Additionally, I noticed that the cleanliness of the dining area could use some attention. Tables were left uncleaned for longer than expected, which detracted from the overall ambiance of the place.
Another minor issue was the pricing. While I understand that bagels are a specialty item, some menu items felt a bit overpriced compared to other local cafes. Overall, Einstein Bros. Bagels offers great bagels and a pleasant atmosphere, but improvements in service speed and cleanliness would enhance the experience. I would rate my visit...
