TacoMania — Restaurant in Riverton

The short review is the food is good, but not worth the price and my advice would be order individual tacos and not the combo. The long review is this place newly opened near my work and is still figuring some things out. There were people waiting on their orders, but there was no one in line in front of the 3 of us and it took me maybe 10-15 minutes to be able to order. The tacos were very good. I had the Birria and Brisket cheesy tacos and they were very similar. They were good, but not super traditional compared to what I have had elsewhere. My first complaint, and I hope it is because they are still new and figuring things out, is that they offered 5 salsas and Onions mixed with cilantro, but nothing else. Also they had Mild, Medium, Hot, and Hottest. I couldn't taste any heat in any of them except the mild and it was mild. There was no cheese, jalapeños and carrots, no lettuce or cabbage, no chunky salsas (pico de gallo), and no limes that you usually see at taco restaurants. Because of the lack of toppings for the tacos they pretty much tasted like meat wrapped in a tortilla (which is what they were). The meat had good flavor and was juicy. They were good, but could have been much better. Next the combos are priced between $12 and $13, but it comes with 2 tacos ($5-$6 if purchased individually) and a tiny portion of rice and a drink. All three of us that went here wished we just got an extra taco instead of the taco. I don't usually order drinks at restaurants and for me I wouldn't have payed more than $1 for that portion of rice. I could have gotten 4 delicious tacos for the same price as the combo and it would have been much better. You could have 3 tacos and a drink for less than the price of the combo. Also with the combos we were told that we couldn't choose different meats for the tacos (I don't know why). I traded with one of my friends to be able to try 2 different kinds). Overall the tacos were pretty good, maybe 7 out of 10. The rice had good flavor, but pretty basic mexican rice a solid 5 out of 10. With the other mexican offerings in the area I am not sure I would go back to this place. The other 2 people I ate lunch with said they would give it another chance, but they both agreed for the price it probably wouldn't be high on the list. I think if they offered the tacos with rice and beans for a lower price it would be something to consider. At the current price I don't think I will be back anytime soon unless I really want a taco and don't want to go very far to find one. But for my money I will most likely go somewhere else. They are in soft opening now so maybe when they are up and fully running I will give it another chance. Overall I like to support local restaurants and hope they succeed.

This place has BOMB tacos and the food is so mouthwatering! The quesadillas are super delicious with carne asada and their chips are thick style tortilla chips. I can't give it a full 5 stars because: The salsa bar is lackluster. I'd like to see a little more variety. Especially for the chips - need better salsas to go with them like a pico de gallo or chunky salsa. The employees. The employees here are not professional. The teen taking our order was using her phone while we were in line looking at the menu and it made us unsure if she was ready for us to give her our order. No biggie - just not professional and unwelcoming for a first timer. Then while we were eating our meal, a teenage boy came to our table and tried selling us chocolates from a school fundraiser type of thing. We were confused and politely said no. He went behind the counter with his other co-workers and they laughed. It made us feel awkward and so we left. The food is SO good though. Next time I will just get take out to avoid the awkward encounters...

THE. 3673 LOCATION IS THE BOMB TACO SPOT. This place was so clean when I walked in OMG it was so terrific I am so proud of the workers that are here they were very courteous very understanding of what I would like to have and they put all the toppings on their everything was filled up to the top everything was hot and spicy like it was supposed to be the food was creamy and good and juicy nachos was good and crunchy I really appreciate the staff and they were kind to me and I am from Ohio and I really enjoy the fact that their bathrooms were clean and they had soap and the sink was not dirty the toilet was not dirty the floor was clean all of the trash was picked up their tables was nice and clean and the young lady that cooked behind the counter was so awesome she was quiet at the same time but she did smile even though she probably had a long order all day.
